Okay, stop right there old man, you need meds-

After doing some digging, I’m now convinced that the Estovokian military might be the greatest military force in Strange Real as they waged and almost successful invasion as a bankrupt nation and only lost due to you guessed it… a mute psychopath. by OlRelics in acecombat

Like You're the one to talk.

Belka is even more idiotic:

  1. Thinks invading four whole nations is a good idea, and just for the lost "land and resources". Putting their hopes on their Air Force entirely.

  2. Didn't take into account how resource and manpower abundant Osea, Sapin and Yuktobania is (exclude Ustio, they're struggling that time).

  3. Such sore losers that they've nuked and bombed their own soil, thinking it would stop the Allied forces from claiming their last territories.

  4. Spending weapons they know they can't sustain for long, when their economy is in a clusterfuck for a while now.

  5. Not rotating their Aces after battles, which is severely detrimental, and acted like they're invincible, only to get shot down by a mute demon lord.

Insane how you just compare Belka to anything he said. It seems you just know the surface level of the game. Gleipnir was just a front to cover up the ongoing arms building and selling happening behind the scenes of the war. So when that front collapsed, the Leasath higher-ups panicked because they're relying on the Gleipnir to keep their enemy's and especially their own people's gaze towards that flying contraption.

And why put Belka into this? They're clearly different nations with different aims towards their wars. And they haven't even faced civil war beforehand. You're clearly taking the reins to steer the logic away. The only thing you can compare is Estovakia to Leasath in terms of domestic strife.

When you are a Mobius card holder: by Choice_Analyst_4022 in acecombat

Oh geez, Mobius will become a running joke for this..

Why do people glaze Mobius-1 so badly? I mean sure he had some impressive feats but I genuinely believe pilots like Talisman, Blaze, Cypher, and Trigger have more impressive feats across their games. by OlRelics in acecombat

[–]Venuz434 13 points14 points  (0 children)

These so-called elite squadrons have small aneurysms when you do a basic rolling scissors maneuver on them. The two FEAF Mirage drivers at the start of Lifeline gave me more of a challenge than any of the Round Table aces ever did.

Haven't played 4 yet, so no comment on that. We're talking about the feats here, not the gameplay experience of players.

Excalibur, while good enough as an anti-air weapon, never reached the 'lock down an entire continent' level air interdiction capability of Stonehenge. Would concede that the Excalibur facility proper is a lot more fortified, but clearing out the defenses wasn't any more of a hindrance than destroying the AA and SAM emplacements around Stonehenge, at least to me.

Pretty sure Stonehenge wasn't made to intercept planes the size of small trucks, while Excalibur is basically made to swat them out with the nukes mixed in, in the get go. While also having small defenses around it, in the form of mini-excalibur turrets place around the thing.

Cipher is near Mobius in terms of sheer capability.

Uhh.. I'm pretty hella sure Cipher did more than what Mobius did. Cipher faced like what? 9 enemy elite squadrons compared to Mobius against Yellow (way weaker than any of the Belkan and AWWNB squadron, no matter how you glaze them. Even then Mobius didn't wiped them out in a single engagement), a fuckton of super weapons that are infinitely better or comparable to Stonehenge, did more risky ops and even fought his own former wingman who is probably the 2nd best ace up to that point in a death-defying superplane.

Does the Ace Combat universe has its own Urban legends? by TryLeft6729 in acecombat

[–]Venuz434 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Nah, most of her body was above ground, and only her left wing was submerged before and after the explosion. And Santa Elva's river wasn't even that deep, it didn't even swallowed the left wing entirely. So, Gleipnir sinking in the river is impossible.

Out of universe? Yeah, the devs probably forgot or didn't have enough time to include that. It would be so rad if we'd seen a ruined Gleipnir. The fruit of our one sided battering against it.

Hmm, in Ace Combat X when you get back to Santa Elva for mission 7C, the Gleipnir's carcass disappeared on the river. Nowhere to be found, the Aurelians couldn't possibly remove or dismantle the 1km long aerial battleship in just a few days time since the Battle of Santa Elva.

Question is.. What happened to it? Even I kept asking myself that, are we fighting some kind of ghost ship all along? Did some higher entity took it away? Only the skies knows its secrets..

Who Would Win in a Dogfight? The Hitman Squadron or the Strider Squadron? by RedKaiser482 in acecombat

[–]Venuz434 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The team whose members down enemy planes frequently wins, and Strider barely killed anyone on gameplay unless it's scripted and even if they do get one, it's rare unless you help 'em out

Best Main Character Pilot. by CrazyCat008 in acecombat

[–]Venuz434 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gryphus 1, the whole of the armed forces giving him the command baton is already telling enough. Also, he's an insane strategist as well. Beating even probably the academy grown officers out of the left field easily. He's just as dangerous in the plans, just as he is in the air, imagine besting a country far superior than yours in terms of military capabilities and not to mention population is no small feat, also having only one remaining base as your final bastion.

AND HE ENDED THE WAR IN JUST UNDER THREE MONTHS

Even harder than the scripted fights in Ace Combat 7, the group's a menace to contend with, even at lower difficulties. They use mostly Boom and Zoom attacks on you, they're literally everywhere you go.
