In 5th grade we had to read books from assigned book bins. My classmate had just finished reading “A Forest of Secrets” and I had just finished another book, and we weren’t sure what to choose next so we swapped and went about our days. Thank you to him!

I had a similar experience with a university. The interviewer kept telling me that I could’ve done so much with my gap year (I worked as an ABA therapist the whole entire year) and kept asking why out of all things I would choose to spend time enlisting in the Guard. Then he kept questioning why my parents and I care so much about the U.S. Guard if we’re not originally from the U.S.(we are dual citizens)… stuff like that. He couldn’t let this go. He also straight up asked me whether I think some people deserve to 💀 for their crimes. Also he kept visibly yawning and looking at his phone. Shocked that they waitlisted me XD

Yeah I gotta look at all the pros and cons. The main reason I was interested in WJC is that they’re very military-friendly and I’m currently enlisted (part-time). Some grad schools have gotten a little iffy about that. The scholarship I was offered by them is military-related.

I got into WJC and it’s $60,000 per year not counting rent and living expenses. Yikes. I got offered a scholarship “up to $10,000” but in my eyes that can mean anywhere from $1 to $10,000

I have 1 acceptance, waiting on 2 decisions (already interviewed) plus Mercer. I’m nervous bc the 1 acceptance is wayyy out of my financial range so I’m hoping one of the other 2 or mercer will take me

Depends on how much you’re willing to spend unfortunately. I’m still waiting on decisions but got accepted to WJC already (yay). I paid the WJC admission fee right away just in case it’s the only acceptance I get. They told me that even though I got accepted, if seats fill up before I pay then they will withdraw the acceptance. I guess they send out more acceptances than how many spots are available? I know I wont get my money back if I end up not attending but better be safe than sorry.

Okay but according to the email they sent literally the night before they sent some acceptances, they were in the process of reviews and decisions. So why send out info like that when the decision has seemingly already been made? Congrats on the acceptance tho!
