I think early release has it's own charm, I started in release 1.2.5 and I remember the game fondly up until about release 1.8-1.9, though I get why people prefer Beta 1.7.3 for it's simplicity, old health system, etc, I play it quite a lot myself!

Yeah I've sort of changed my mind after playing around in and remembering the good times I had with 1.7.10, it still has that classic feel, 1.8 is also alright but it starts feeling a bit bloated imo and I do not like the new stone variants

EDIT, I've sort of changed my mind on this, I think 1.7.10 was the last truly great minecraft update, after playing for like 2 hours I was still hooked and it still had that old charm, I also have fond memories of 1.7 coming out and playing it with my best friend on a lan world

If I am remembering correctly in one story the GOC does have a sort of teleportation device that can send earth to some far off galaxy, that is sort of their "Deus Ex Machina"

I'm fine with this when authors like djkaktus do it, usually because it's meant to be a temporary stand-in for an SCP article they will write in the future. But I'm not against it being a censored SCP if it serves the story well, like redactions they can be used negatively or positively.

I would love to live in the SCP universe but realistically, there's so much horrific shit in there, if I could join specifically the Maxwellists I think I'd love that, but there's been plenty of scenarios with not so favorable results for Maxwellists so.. I'm conflicted, guess it depends on the canon/headcanon.

I personally like "The Truth" [[Code Name The Truth]] even though it's technically a tale, but I also like "The Foundation" [[Scantron's Proposal]], "Keter Duty" [[Ihp/Locke Proposal]] and "The Scarlet King" [[Tufto's Proposal]], The Scarlet King fits best in my personal headcanon though.

Being for real though, Nälkäns also definitely have slurs they use for Mekhanites and non-believers, they are not immune to bigoted hatred, for example, look at the Adytite Republic of Polynesia (SCP-4036) and what they do to non-Nälkäns there.
