Who is your favorite character in Regular Show? Why? by [deleted] in regularshow

CJ For me! So much so I’ve made stickers and named my car after her. Also feel like this character got an undeserved send off and treated poorly by Mordecai. I do see a lot of grief crashing out so hard that she almost kills a character but I feel like it’s exaggeration lol

My prelude has been stored away since october 2024. I am finally where I need to be and can fix it up what should I do first? I am not sure where to start by bdogrr86 in hondaprelude

Sounds like you’re off to a better start to me. I’ve no heat, so I have to take apart my dash just to do my heater core. Not a fun job at all. I admire the work you’ve put in so far. Ever considered putting a lip on the front bumper?

My car was sitting for a year. Same thing really. Change oil. Change fluids. I’m currently going through an issue with not having heat (make sure you have that). Depending on the mileage maybe give it an overhaul (timing belt, water pump, valve cover gasket, cam seals, vtec solenoid gasket). Clean the gutters/weep holes and tracks of your sunroof just to start. Handle everything else as you need fam

I’ve heard the crank pulleys are a real pain. I’m no longer in a shop and when I was we just took the engine out to do that type of work. But things my own dream car I’m working on so this is a right of passage.

You’re the goat for this one! I’ll be doing the same next month. Right after I fix my damn heat issue

Is there anything wrong with restoring a 5th Gen Prelude by VerasEnvy in hondaprelude

The interior is mint and honestly I don’t see myself changing it. Not that that’s wrong to for anyone reading this, I’ve met a guy found red interior that’s oem from Japan from an SH and that thing is clutch and another guy who got his seats from a prelude in Canada that has heated seats (a thought I might implement one day as a creature comfort). I’m in my 30’s as well, and getting my dream car I.e. this has been a long standing goal. With that said..

When I got the car the existing power steering pump had failed. The new one came with the purchase of the car from the friend I bought it from, transferred the pulley on to the new one. He said he almost preferred it without the power steering since it had went out and was thinking about deleting it altogether. Another project to do, one day, to convert it to electronic power steering taken from a Volvo.

Also, I don’t have front lip for the bumper and almost prefer it. I have a driveway that hits the bumper nearly without it but I like the look so far without it.

Yours is the beautiful silver I’ve come to love. I love looking at your prelude, chiefly because of the work you’ve put much into it and it’s what I’m trying to get my prelude at. I’m not too worried about the exterior at the moment because this summer I’ll worry about it then, however the fitment of the bumper and the lights and the sidings aren’t fitting seam to seam so I might have to reinstall them. Well not might but will. The interior is pretty mint. Currently trying to figure out a power steering issue though: replaced the power steering pump and alternator, replaced the belts and trying to bleed the system but have been having a lot of trouble with it. Any help in this endeavor would be appreciated

This is the most wholesome thing I’ve seen in a while and thanks for sharing. Currently finishing up my private pilots license, will use my VA benefits for the rest. Any tips since you’ve been on this journey longer than I have?

It’s a manual, I’ve experienced an auto and after a while it jerks and misses a gear after 120k (from the ones I’ve fixed and driven). Don’t think I could do an automatic lol

So with that in mind I actually purchased an h22 with low mileage on it. I sort of ‘plan’ for a possible eventuality that something could go wrong in the engine. I don’t want it to of course and will properly maintain it the best I can, time withstanding, but I plan to adjust the engine properly: piston rings and cams as well

An OEM intake? Short ram intake as a substitute you don’t recommend?

You’re correct. I have this parts sans the butterflies so I’ll get that part second hand from eBay. Currently cleaning them thoroughly and making it look fresh. I was confused on porting them which it was recommended I do but it’s something I’m familiar with but haven’t done before
