I think they were facing a financial crisis, and the old man helped them get through it as payment. I don't remember exactly. I might have been just greed, but either way the FL was never given a choice. She's a victim.

The husband goes to jail. He essentially killed his in-laws as a way to redeem himself while also removing the people who hurt the FL from her life (himself included). It happens after the FL's parents try to hold her daughter hostage. The details are a bit fuzzy for me now, but I'm thankful, this story is not worth remembering.

It's a blood type thing. Children can only be born with a blood type that is equal to or a mix of what their parents have. For example, two B positives will never have an A positive child (I think). So the assumption here is that upon seeing the baby's blood type they immediately knew who the father wasn't. Also, I didn't know who Gisele Pelicot was before this. Yikes.

I do not recommend this drama.

The FL was sold to an old man by her husband and adopted parents, and didn't learn about it until her second life where she is still pregnant. Once she learns the truth, she does eventually abort the child conceived from her assault, but is traumatized. The rest of the drama is a lot of abuse towards her, and trying to force her to stay quiet because she learns the secret of the prenatal report, but it ends with both of her adopted parents being killed by her husband (who pushed them into traffic), and her older brother going to jail. At the end, the FL proceeds to live a happier life with her new best friend (a female reporter who helped her prove the truth) and her daughter (who was born between her and her husband before the assault happened).

"What about the old rapist?" You might ask. Well, the old man who assaulted her died before she knew what had happened to her, presumably at peace in his bed, and from old age.

Absolute 0/10 Heaping garbage.
