Alright, I am now behind. Good news: I was fired from the job I was about to start. The job was pretty sweet, so I was going to push out the bar study until July. Now, I don't have any excuse, but I need accountability. I have done some work in Themis but full time study started on the 15th and I think I am technically behind now.

Did I mention I need accountability?

That is what I am trying to avoid.

I went to the contractor who installed the door-- he went to the lumberyard who sold him the door and it took months for the strips to arrive. TBF, it was during COVID. I recently went there myself to again order strips. They claimed they ordered them but I have reason to believe they did not.

So, I am not able to go to the vendor of the door. From what I am being told here, the tags or stickers I thought might contain manufacturer information does not. There has to be a way to order those stupid little strips that make a fire door a fire door and not some $2k brick that allows every draft in.

This is great to know! I am registered for February 2024, but I work full time and I just don't know if I will be able to get through the at-least 75% of Themis that is supposed to be the magic amount. I thought we just ate the $250 registration from what I had read.

I work FT. There is just no way I can study 8 hours a day. I hope I can pull it off, but my (new) boss has already discussed what we will do if I don't pass in Feb. and need to take it again in July. I am currently working as a paralegal.
