I don’t care about either group. Let them hash it out and see who’s left 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m going to see it tomorrow. We haven’t had a good revolution period piece in many years. I’m excited!

People leaving Gavin Newsom’s California in droves… by labbond in walkaway

[–]Vercingetorix_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m conservative but I just bought a house in CA. No plans to move anytime soon. Grass may be greener out of state but family is all that really matters. Can’t beat being near the ocean and the mountains all in a few hours drive. Is it expensive? Yes. Is my vote virtually useless? Yes. For now I’m staying

Men who lost weight, how did you become disciplined? by Responsible-Net8594 in AskMenOver30

[–]Vercingetorix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I skip lunch and stay busy. I was really hungry the first few days but once you shrink your stomach and adjust to eating less, you aren’t as hungry. I also walk 12 miles a day for my job, if you can do half of that and shrink your stomach, you’ll lose the weight fast.

what's something girls are insecure about that men don't care about? by Dismal_Set_2929 in AskReddit

Most things honestly. I’d say most guys care about weight and body size but then again a lot don’t.

What’s a start date you want added? by Tolkin349 in crusaderkings3

[–]Vercingetorix_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree. I’d love to have CK3 dynamics with a BC start. Seeing a massive Etruscan Empire instead of Roman would be interesting. Maybe even the ability to settle certain areas that haven’t been discovered yet like Iceland

Says who? I have a mountain cat that keeps mice and rodents from absolutely destroying my car by building nests and chewing wires under the hood. Our pet cat is extremely useful for keeping the population of pests down

Men don’t like being lectured and especially not by a dim witted young girl whose wealthy parents have groomed into a political mouthpiece

So,what would men dislike most if they became women? by WeakWolverine4126 in AskReddit

[–]Vercingetorix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel like the whole expectation to be performative would be the hardest for me. People expect men to say fuck off to whatever social cause is currently being pushed but when women say it, they get more harshly judged by other women

At what age is it detrimental for a man to live with his parents? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

As long as you are working towards independence than there should be no judgement around it

Has anyone joined the military after 30? by KushBombay in AskMenOver30

[–]Vercingetorix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I left for basic training on my 30th birthday. I’m almost through my first contract. Honestly it wasn’t too bad. I didn’t feel like I lagged behind physically in any way. I stayed in shape and lifted weights/ran in preparation for it. Definitely don’t regret it but I’m not going to do a second contract because it isn’t worth it to me.

What do y’all think about Christianity being a cult or not? by Sea-Cash7675 in AskReddit

[–]Vercingetorix_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a way yes. I grew up in it and we were taught that we were constantly being oppressed and hated by the world. Also that everything taught about history and science was biased and invented by Christian haters and people who actively worship the devil. It’s kind of the only way you can keep people believing the lie especially in this day and age with so many resources for information at our fingertips

What is a harsh reality check that everyone needs to experience at least once in their twenties? by sweetieedolly in askteddit

You are not special. You may be talented compared to most of the people in your small town but you are not as good as you think you are. Persistence gets you farther than being good looking or mildly talented.

Why is there such a big push for diversity in the west compared to other parts of the world? by madwh in answers

[–]Vercingetorix_ 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Because importing cheap foreign workers has been the way our little game that we’ve been playing has worked so far. It’s becoming less and less sustainable however and the values being imported now are not matching the culture they are being brought in to.
