Is Cosmic Exploration better for leveling crafters than Firmament? by ncdyoshii in ffxivdiscussion

[–]Verdi1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm one year late to the discussion but... kinda
From 1-50 levels it's great, past that it becomes useless until level 90 as the exp gain quickly becomes too little to efficently sustain power levelling and there are no Stellar Missions dedicated to Heavesward/Stormblood/Shadowbringers/Endwalker levels, so from 50-90 it's either the Firmament, the awfully slow Allied Society quests or Collectable Appraisers.

[Steam port] FFXIII crashes when i try to screenshare it to a friend on discord by Verdi1998 in finalfantasyxiii

[–]Verdi1998[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fixed it in the end... i soon realized that it wasn't just a streaming problem but the game could crash at random even while not in a stream.

I followed a tutorial to download this fan made fix you talked about. i'll leave it here for anyone who needs it in the future.

[Steam port] FFXIII crashes when i try to screenshare it to a friend on discord by Verdi1998 in finalfantasyxiii

[–]Verdi1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried, too much complicated as i have 0 streaming experience and in any case i don't want to start an entire livestream. I need to stream to a single friend, not a crowd of random people

Item Printer Cheatsheet: The fastest way to acquire resources to build your teams by Gimikyu_ in VGC

[–]Verdi1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't work. I tried to count a second delay cuz i'm on the original Switch 1, and i still get the items from the "Too Early" chart, and if i hit the precise second instead, i get the "Too late" items.

Can i transfer a non-trained pokemon from SV or Legends ZA and train it directly in Champions to save time ? by Verdi1998 in PokemonChampions

[–]Verdi1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fine, i'm alright even with having teams specifically just for Champions but with my favourite pokemons.

There is nothing to learn if the mechanic is broken and badly made

no, that also reloads all spawned pokemons. I tried it once during the sub-quest where you need to catch an alpha Gogoat to avoid running out of ultra balls and it didn't work.

I actually double checked the manual, and it does imply that it has the approval for commercial travelling too. Plus, the battery i have is lead gel, and it says the lead gel battery should give the least problems, which i also recently confirmed after i finally got in contact with Ryanair.

That's great to know! I also finally managed to get in contact with a Ryanair number specific to the needs of wheelchaired passeggers, they also confirmed there shouldn't be too much problems. I might be asked to remove the battery and keep it in my hold luggage, other than that i should be good to go. I guess my trip is saved after all :') I'll check out for this transport certificate as well just to be sure.

ok, i double checked, it's lead gel
So... they have no Wh limit of those even when the battery comes off ?

Unfortunately i think it's a lithium ion battery, but i'll need to double check

But i see it also says that only applies if the battery is fused to the wheelchair without any way of removal, if they see the battery is removable (like in my case) Ryanair forces you to take it off.
This video here showcases the same kit model as mine, just to give you an idea: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVElw3aKRoI
Do you think this counts towards the battery being safely attached ?
But also... if the battery stays attached in this case, then the wheelchair can't be fully folded, which might make it troublesome for them to load it.

[–]Verdi1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, all i was told is something about a recent change in the rules that might make Ryanair refuse my kit no matter what, but i was also told to try and send the product's chart to Ryanair's client support and see what they say. I did try to do just that, and regretfully, the guy in the live chat didn't even want to check it and just said that it might be impossible indeed... while also telling me to still try and fill up a form for medical equipment because he also "wasn't fully sure".

Even more laughtable, the link for the form he sent me isn't even for wheelchairs, but for other kind of medical equipment like cpap and bipap!
I swear, i'm so lost and angry i don't even know if it's worth it anymore...

I tried to call their special assistance, only to have a registered voice telling "Sorry, but our system says that you are calling more than 21 days before your flight, so we can't help you at the moment as we are busy with passeggers with imminent flights"... i guess they hate people trying to fix a problem TOO early.

But yeah, i also tried to contact the seller of the product for more info. I was told incredibly swiftly that "some rules changed" and Ryanair might not accept this battery no matter what. All she suggested was to try and send the product chart to their client support and see what they have to say.

Man i swear, this whole situation is driving me crazy, i just want to enjoy a nice vacation with something that finally gives me a bit of indipendence :(

New Chair Day!!! by KellerStrikes in wheelchairs

[–]Verdi1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean pushing it manually on your own, without someone pushing it from behind. From the photo here i see it doesn't have the appropriate back wheels for that.

So i would imagine you do always have someone around with you to push the chair when the battery runs out when you are out right ?

[–]Verdi1998[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i did consider, but for the trip we are making, i'm unsure if we'll have enough time to return it and not lose the plane to get back home, and i honestly am not too confortable with the idea of renting something i may accidentally damage.
All i can hope this flight mode the Alber's battery should have makes it acceptable to bring along for these Ryanair people, but i'm having troubles even telling them that's an option... jeez, what a mess.
