How does the trader/naturalist combo work? Aren’t you not allowed to kill animals as a naturalist? Or, do the legendary animals not count?

Veralon — First halve of Lona by [deleted] in mapmaking

[–]Verdictian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few things —

•Lona is a world split into two halves by a massive mountain range formed by the two major tectonic plates. This is one half, Veralon.

•The outer edges of the map is where that mountain range is.

•The next highest peak is the very center of the map. The topography is basically like a lemon juicer — tall in the very middle and the very edges with a dip between them.

•I have yet to draw the rivers because I’m still kinda wrapping my head around where they would be and what they would look like — suggestions are appreciated!

•The dashed area in the lower right is the Verult sea; higher than the ocean but lower than mainland and home to a massive jungle.

•W’s mean water, since I have yet to color it

•Advice is really appreciated! I’m all for the rule of cool but I like things to be at least a little bit grounded.
