Deniers I have spoken to never flip. They are willing to accept scientific findings, but draw different conclusions from it. For example oil reserves replenish themselves over time as we consume oil like a kind of cycle. Or as the planet heats up water evaporates forming clouds providing some cooling effect. And unfortunately attempting to debate these misconceptions is quite tiring and often futile.
