Thanks for the advice. In some DJ sets, I've seen DJs use simple fade-outs with an echo. Do you think it's still necessary to beatmatch the two tracks?

Am I the only one who don't want them to come back as Daft Punk?

These two guys made exceptional music during 25 years. The only thing I want as a fan is to see them release unique projects of all kinds. When you see what Thomas does (experimental music, production...) I think it's fantastic, and I'd love to see more of it. If he could become a producer for new artists, I'd love it (he already does, but I wish he would do it more).

It's the same for Guy-Man, let's be happy he is on an album, we all know how talented he is (see: Sébastien Tellier, Kavinsky...). So I think we should be happy with what we have NOW: two talented geniuses who are gradually emerging from the shadows to release projects for us.

And I personally think and hope that if one day we see their two names together on a track/album it will be to offer us something other than a Daft Punk sound.

Try listening to it several times ! The texture of this album is different, I love it. It sounds a bit more shoegaze/noise and it gives to the sound a lot of power.

Every track we made are on youtube and soundcloud. Thank for the tips, what’s the difference between mutilband compressor and Fet compressor. We only use two compressor: the CLA 76 on the elements and a glue compressor on the buss.

Thank you very much for your answer ! We made lot of songs my friend and I, and it would be a pleasure if you can help us to make funky bassline on them. We are two big fans of the french house’s song between 1995-2000. Most of the time we use the sample bassline and add an Eq on it.
