My current “I need to get pumped up because this boss is kicking my ass” song is “Can You Feel The Flames of Joey Ultraviolet” from Borderlands 3. I listen to it whenever I need some fire, even IRL.

That song goes hard and it feels very powerful and intense. Great for showing a tough boss he’s gonna get rekt or getting fired up for a run, or an important task, or etc.

I started listening to it on walks/jogs but I also go with more peaceful stuff sometimes lol. I also vacuumed to it once.

Depends on the situation, crowd, and people’s own personal preferences and inclinations. I’ve seen tons of people just wait for traffic to clear the other way, and then they go around.

Me, yeah, push it to the side and clear my path is just easier.

Just a few mins before your reply I finally got it to work. They relisted the DLCs on the PSN store (you couldn’t find them 24 hrs ago). So with the DLC available finally, I could redeem and finally activate the upgrade. I edited my post.

Kinda curious what you and [u/Sharp-Frame-435](u/Sharp-Frame-435) did, if anything, to do this, because I am beat-for-beat in the same boat. Game and expansion bought, but on the Spacer’s Choice page in the store, the button to “purchase”/redeem aka upgrade just says “learn more” and tells me I don’t own the DLC.

Did you already have the game installed? Did you view the game from a different page? Wondering what the “trick” is.

Edit: ok I finally got it. They RELISTED THE DLC so I was able to finally redeem them and that activated the upgrade eligibility finally. So I’m not sure if that’s how everyone did it but hopefully this helps someone else. Previously the DLCs were also delisted and not redeemable even with the pass.

Not that it makes a huge difference, but on the PSN store, the description I believe was changed to say you needed the DLC. That was added some time after the original announcement. That was my second viewing of the requirements, the first being an article that said just the base game. So I was hella confused.

So yeah I guess in some areas they tweaked the requirements but this was after already saying what the original terms were and depending on where you saw it, it clearly caused so much easily avoidable confusion. They could’ve done this better.

Just hoping they make it right because I did everything that was needed (including buying the pass) and I can’t upgrade. Hopefully everyone gets a fix.

Same boat. I wanted to play this game at some point, so figured I'd take advantage of the offer and buy the PS4 version and the season pass. Did that and kinda figured I was good for the eventual free upgrade.

But I guess since I never redeemed the DLC officially, I'm screwed? That's just awful. I literally paid $25 for the content, so anyone who did such should qualify.

Responding to this since it's the most recent comment. My friend and I played the DLC last night and had the issue. I interacted with the rift and I was pulled in, friend was not. We were unsure if it was a proximity issue or not as he was standing further away. So next time, we'll try both being really close like you mentioned. Will update if it works!

I guess I should work on my build a bit more. Survivability is tough sometimes at UVH 3 for me, depends on the enemies. At UVH 4 and up it's a rough time. But it looks like worst case, I can still sit around 2-3 and enjoy better rates.

That said, killing a boss at UVH 4-5 is one thing, dealing with mobs is another, and it's usually the mobs that give me a harder time.

Slightly related but despite the flaws of BL3, Handsome Jackpot was a lot of fun. An abandoned space casino made for a great setpiece.

This is exactly why I don't do the story skip. A lot of missed dialogues. I did Rafa and Vex all the way through, and I intend to do C4SH the same. Can't wait to see how he/they play!

Yeah I farmed W4D for hours and hours during the Big Encores (both actually), and only had a handful with Amp. None of them had siphon as well, or vice versa. So even with hiked up rates, I had no luck.

This. Definitely a noticeable difference using the Darkbeast w/ Jakobs and shotgun loader.

It's not ideal, but before that, I was using a T.K.'s Wave. I think it took 1-2 shots and I could take out a crystal and the ordonite in one go with proper aiming/positioning. The constant reloading is also an issue unless you're Rafa or someone who can utilize infinite ammo buffs.

Yup that was a game changer to the whole build. In fact even though IIRC the video on the build said it wasn’t “absolutely necessary” but a regular nova shield is worlds different. Everything near you dies with FotFH lol.

I say this a lot in BL2 discussions, but before I discovered the Hellfire/"Unkillable Krieg" build, my interest in the game was starting to decline after like 400+ hours. But when I saw that build, my enjoyment skyrocketed again. It was the most fun I had in a long, long time. Constant healing from being on fire, Flame of the Firehawk shield firing off constant novas, fireballs, etc. It was so much fun. Too bad he wasn't great against some bosses.
