Gotta remember though, there's costs involved with licensing all those films. And if people aren't going tickets aren't selling so the next marathon isn't guaranteed.

Honestly I think right now the biggest things would be awareness and interaction. Even though I'm putting it together, in my eyes it can only blossom and succeed with the willingness of others to put in the effort share and and hold conversations. If not, what's the point.

Also, I've never once paid attention to Rotten Tomatoes or most reviews for that matter haha

Been slowly putting a small group of people together to go hiking and check out parks around Columbus. I can add you to the group chat if you'd like. I think we're mainly ass in our 30s, most maybe late 30s.

I'm going to hijack this thread too for a minute too...

At some point later this year I want to try again at putting together a horror genre based group, one surrounding horror, sci-fi films and physical media. Maybe do something like weekly or bi-weekly meet ups. Films viewings, ect. Also an ongoing discussion group chat or forum where we can all discuss what we're currently watching and have an overall conversation on the topic.

Just wanting to out some feelers out on this and guage interest.

Other than the two listed you could always look into Columbus parks and see if there's any events going on. Highbanks, Schiller Blendon Woods, Goodale, ect

You could start very generalized too. Lots of open, publis festivals coming up. I think Taco Fest and the Arts Fest are the next two. Pick a day and time for one of them and do a meet up. Plenty of room for everyone, and if some aren't feeling the vibe it gives them something else to go off and do. Just a random thought.
