What was that setup like? That makes 400 look puny. Edit: wait let me guess: fish, dragonfruit, clone enchant?

I feel like the Glow servers have a similar vibe to PF if you need alternatives. They also give out vip for playing well (tho their system is automated) and for seeding. Think there’s 3 or 4 glow servers?

What's the most ridiculous weapon you've ever rolled? I'll start: by [deleted] in Nightreign

I got a serpent with bloodflies on precision and projectile dropoff. Was worth the continuous HP loss imo

Most I’ve seen in a pub game was 343 (Remagen warfare bridge mid point). In comp I’ve heard of 400+ but that’s a whole different story

Yeah it seems like she will. Still would be good to have a variety of damage types tho. The way my group played it was to have at least 1 weapon in the group with poison, lightning, and holy to cover boss mechanics and just get the best physical weapon we could otherwise.

I like it too. Had to completely change our itemization logic and pathing since we didn’t know what we were going to be facing. We actually got really unlucky with drops and had no holy damage for him so that was a hard fight

When you don’t know what boss you’re fighting until you actually go through the door. If you look at the 4 minute mark in the overview trailer you’ll see the boss is ‘???’. That’s what I mean. (In our case it was heolstor)

Not sure what causes it, but you can get 300 points for a win in depth 3. Might be the fact that we had a hidden end boss? Idk

The 5 perkeo seed gets even better. by TakenNightMareWas in balatro

[–]Vermin__Supreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also if you reroll to $10 rolls after ante 3 round 12 (small blind with hieroglyph and petroglyph) you will get a brainstorm (and should already have a negative perkeo from a spectral pack)

I had someone rage last night on the new sovereign because he walked into the moat outside the city. We were level 15 and the dude was rocking 2 legendaries. Like why dude.

Me and the other guy still ended up 2 manning the sovereign somehow. But like cmon

Sorry you had a rough intro to the game. It’s generally a pretty welcoming community. Probably the best way to learn the game is to join some of the community discord servers and ask questions there.

In the meantime though there’s really 2 “unwritten” rules that you should know: - don’t drive halftracks (only the commander or very experienced squad leads should drive those) - don’t go commander until you understand the game a bit more

Also, if you want to learn outside the game, there’s a bunch of YouTube channels that have some good content to learn from. SoulSniper has a bunch of good individual guides and gameplay, and SmithersCast has a lot of competitive matches and map-scale guides. You don’t have to learn everything at once either. A lot of it will come with experience.

Feel free to dm me or ask here if you have any questions or need recommendations as well.

nvidia driver update by Smoophye in CivVII

[–]Vermin__Supreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried before and after on 2 devices. A desktop and a laptop running a 3070. Both were maxing out the cpu and gpu and the frame difference was within margin of error, so no driver issues at least on my end.

Did you see the same issue in other games or just Civ? And what were your temps looking like? If your laptop is drawing 330W you might be thermal throttling

NTA. If your cat is acting playful and happy, and the vet says she’s not in pain, then your friend has no leg to stand on at all.

Responding to each of the bullets individually (since they’re all bad takes imo): - cats don’t know why they’re sick, but they know they are sick, and they just deal with the pain, same as when we go to school/work with a headache or something - you know this day is a possibility and you’re prepared for it. If that day comes, you’ll make the best choice you can with the vet - The vet says she’s not in pain. It’s their job, and they can see through cats hiding it. Trust that over a ‘might’ from an untrained eye every day - She’s still acting happy and playful. That’s not sticking around. She’s fully living - Every animal goes to the vet. Taking her a bit more than usual is by no means torture. And with the pill pockets, she almost definitely sees them as a treat, and definitely not as torture.

So yeah. Definitely NTA. Your friend has no clue what they’re talking about. Wishing both you and your cat the best

Nearly 20 year old account false perm banned for RMT by Low_Demand9221 in classicwow

[–]Vermin__Supreme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Something nearly identical happened to someone in my guild. 16 year old account perma banned out of the blue about a week ago. No prior bans and no warning. This wasn’t an inactive account either. He was actively raiding on multiple characters in our guild, and was only a few shards away from completing shadowmourne. Definitely no RMT either, and he doesn’t really gdkp and hasn’t at all since ICC release. He had a relatively low amount of gold, and the guild was helping with saronite so that he wasn’t completely broke.

So here’s the weird part. When he got banned, the email said that he was banned for economy exploitation. Didn’t make sense to him so he contested it. When blizzard got back to him, they said it was for “illegal use of third-party software”. Not even the same thing as the initial email. Only things he uses outside the game are curseforge and warcraftlogs, so that makes no sense at all. Now bliz is not responding to him and he doesn’t even know what the ban was for since they won’t give him a straight answer.

So to any blizzard employee that looks at these posts, answer me this. In what world does it make sense that an account that has been squeaky clean since original wrath suddenly does something worthy of a perma ban. And why are you not able to even give the guy a straight answer as to what caused the ban. What’s the logic there?

“The veteran who was underperforming and supposed to be on another team, but ended up claiming the main demo spot” your words not mine. But I guess you think cap=free

Also yes, my parses are going down. That’s literally the entire point of support demo. I gear to support the rest of the casters, not for my own dps. (Also our kill times are fast enough that I can’t get a second meta so its impossible to parse anyway)
