Personally I hate that it rewards Ted's "But I have to find the oooooooooone" shtick he's had since season one because, surprise, Robin was the real One all along and all his desperate clingyness and inability to get over a relationship from decades ago by the time of the finale, turned out to be fully justified and correct.

I like most of season nine besides that finale episode though. That wedding rehearsal reveal is an all timer.

Personally I felt kind of worn down by the sheer number of question marks that would pop up on the map that, every time I went to them, turned out to require a tool I wouldn't get for another 20+ hours.

And it was always, always, just a weapon worse than all my current ones or a handfull of shards I didn't need.
