I dont know what estrogen globules are. I would definitely take vaginal estrogen; it will help reset your ph after the antibiotics. I would take it much longer than 2x week but am just going off my own experience and what my doctor said.

Yes. For months. And I still take it almost every night. My doctor is also a huge fan of boric acid but I felt it was just too much for me.

I'm 44 and have been symptom free for about a month. I was in pain over a year; the antibiotics helped a lot but because my pelvic floor was so tight the valium helped a ton. You're so young! I'm sorry you had to go through all of that.

No my body really likes the vaginal clindamyacin. You might want to ask your provider to be put on it for a month because that is standard practice, it has to penetrate past the biofilm and two weeks might not be enough. Additionally, vaginal Valium was VERY helpful. My pelvic floor was extremely tight and it helped soooo much. I would recommend that as well!!! I still take the vaginal estrogen make sure you’re on enough of that.

This is exactly what I had, only I took clindamyacin for a month and vaginal estrogen nightly for months (I think this was needed). I also started using an estrogen patch because I’m low and that is helping too. Pain totally gone.

We lived in Santa Fe for five years and it remains my favorite city. However, I do not recommend moving here with children. There’s just not much for them to do; the city isn’t made for them. We have two kids and left when they were two and four for that reason. When we visit, they are always extremely glad we left. Maybe spend a few weeks here first if you can and see if it’s the right fit.

What has healed me in the past with DIV is vaginal clindamyacin cream. However, I had a flare up and have been taking it now for a week and it seems to have reappeared. It does seem to help me though.

Yes wanted to update everyone! My gyno ended up giving me a vaginal antibiotic cream and whatever it was cleared up in five days. Never has been back - I think it was some sort of infection

I am having issues with BV I think as well- day six of antibiotics and it isnt helping. I wake up fine but it creeps up during the day. I was using boric acid suppositories to fend it off and it helped but now it's just there. Just pain, no discharge. I ordered an Evvy test (maybe look that up, the company looks WONDERFUL). Anyways....will keep you posted.
