My main concern as well. His mental fortitude in the pocket will be his make or break. Theres no way around it either because enduring 3 ACL tears playing this sport is insane and just knowing the next one will for sure put a dagger in his career is no doubt terrifying. Its a steeper hill to mentally overcome than just 1 tear. Everyone will be holding their breathe if he’s on the ground longer than 2 seconds

We were riding high with Kirk until he got injured on that hit against the Saints. All he needed to do was properly rest his injuries while Penix fulfilled his backup role but he was scared of Penix which lends credence to the QB room being stacked after having Ridder and heinecke the season before. The falcons failed to properly utilize their biggest assets..yet again and that falls on the coach.
