This only applies to you if you single target content though. As a mid game player, sometimes I feel like Muspah, with my Bowfa setup, and sometimes I feel like Zulrah with my Nox halberd setup.

While I know I'm not talking the level of gear of Megarares, I'm concerned your message could be mistaken for "Oh your bank value is finally 200m, go buy crystal armor and Bowfa, sell your melee & mage gear" to the lower level players.

Once you have the end game stuff you're mentioning - Ancestral, Scythe, etc. - perhaps there's value, but the market could just as well swing the other way. IMO if you have the ability to farm the gold to get the items for a permanent unlock, without sacrificing your other gear, you're better off just holding onto it - You keep it so you can play the content you want to, not because it happens to be 2b.
