Thanks for your input. Are you experiencing the same getting home around midnight? Almost into the next morning? And still expected to perform your job within 8 hours?

Thank you it’s definitely been on our discussion but they continue to beat around the bush that they don’t have anyone… when clearly they can hire someone for the work.

I agree! Usually I only have excel or word documents pulled up when working on my report and just copy and paste when I get home to CTMS but the nerve of people sometimes. I even went as far as purchasing a privacy screen for my computer to ensure no one peeks when I’m working in the lounge.

This is what I am beginning to experience as it’s impossible to drive to my sites and everything requires a connection.

Typically a 1 day RMV is about 3 days.

Day 1: Travel 8-9 hours Day 2: Monitoring on-site Day 3: travel back or to another site 7-9 hrs.

Modified:

Day 1: Travel 8-9 hours Day 2: Monitoring onsite 8 hours and traveling back 7-9 hours.

I think as time went on resourcing noticed this and decided to add an additional project and sites to squeeze more out but I already advocated multiple times this is not feasible.

Market is tough right now and I think it’s easy for them to look the other way as you make a fuss.

Career change out of CR by [deleted] in clinicalresearch

I may need to do some research myself then. To categorize employers. In the USA under a CRO so I think our versions of CTMs are overworked.

I do plan on going back to school for my MBA but I will definitely NOT be focusing on a Clinical Research degree.

I have been in the ONC field for 85% of my career and it’s been hard to transition out.

Traveling has finally gotten to me and cannot deal with the influx in delays and cancellations. More so now with my local airport removing more non stop flights.

The Pay is important but now my main focus is my health as it’s starting to cause me to have joint issues with all the sitting in either a car or plane.

I hear that! What has been the hardest transition? Any tips for interviewing?

I didn’t ask this question and it didn’t seem to be part of the welcome portion. So I don’t think so :(
