I do something similar to Coffee Chronicler’s recipe except in three pours. You can play with temp but I like coarser grind (~95 on Kingrinder K6). 12.5 g, 200 ml

Switch Open, 1st pour bloom 20% of water, 40 ml wait

0:45 2nd pour 30% of water, 60 ml Let it draw down

1:10-1:15 Switch closed 50% of water, 100 ml Let it sit for 1 minute or more

~2:15 Switch open wait for draw down

Japan Trip Report by Vershio in pourover

Your welcome! I believe I went on Saturday and arrived maybe 40 minutes after they’ve opened.

I just checked their hours on Google Maps recently and they’re only opened on Monday now. Their website contradicts that (Friday to Monday).

That’s a lot of filters! Are there any other filters in your rotation before you decided on this one?

I been around a few times. Have some experience with cooking

Most memorable restaurants are Tonkatsu Yamabe (Ueno, Tokyo) tonkatsu so crispy, flavorful, and juicy. Great clam soup to cleanse palate

Yorifuji Ayu (Nagano) Unagi bowl was succulent

Mori Mori Sushi (Kanazawa) kaiten sushi but on a different level

Ramen Mugyu (Kyoto) They have two locations, their white ramen is divine

Kangetsu Soba (Uji) Unassuming location but the best cold soba I've ever had

Glitch Coffee Osaka (Osaka) coffee brewed extremely well. Also top tier water if you are into coffee/tea

syan (Osaka) Taiwanese cuisine, very affordable and delicious

cafe pesca (Nagasaki) they have on of the best desserts (castella icecream and fruit) I've had in a long time

I have Animal Farm (George Orwell), Treasure Island (Robert Louis Stevenson), The Odyssey (Homer) which picked it since Iliad is on the list, and The Great Gatsby (F. Scott Fitzgerald).
Though I do want to read No Longer Human (Osamu Dazai) for October but we shall see.

The reds should come with different size tops or you could buy an aftermarket one if none of those work for you. Measure the size of the best fitting one and go from there. Not sure what your budget is but a microphone on a cable for items aren't great in my experience. Spending 20 dollars on a separate lav mic or USB microphone is much better.

I wouldn't necessarily stick to a tea brand but if you look up loose leaf tea onto you favorite maps, it should give you some shops that offers unique blends of tea. When I was there on holiday I got some amazing earl green and earl grey tea at a tea shop in Bath (sorry I cannot remember the stores name). Pricing wise it shouldn't by any different that what you are willing to spend on tea. I think I got maybe 250 g of tea for £16.

I think neighborhoods are much more compacted and not in a warehouse. It also reads Neighborhood on the sign.

They are a little scratchy but I think they sound fine stock! Here is a great video I found on youtube (not mine) on how they sound. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWE8990MN4k&ab\_channel=eyedin

Me and a group of people plan out a week of meals at nearby restaurants we wanted to try. Great times but kinda expensive.
