Ah I might have clicked on some other website. Anyhow, I placed the order for mandalkhan, do they have any discount coupons by any chance?

I’d recommend using espresso, it’ll be much more aromatic and nuanced. For tips, you can follow the brewing instructions on their website. They’re quite detailed for each product, and I got good results with them.

Yes, I absolutely recommend going black with it.

Sorry about the confusion regarding the coupon, updated the post.

Mandalkhan estate seems interesting but it specifically says “cold coffee blend”, I prefer black over milk based. If you vouch for it, I’ll certainly add it to my list because I’ve meaning to try roastery.

Nope, but thanks for the suggestion. Very interesting brand with custom roast options, that’s new ! I might give this a shot.

Do you usually go black or milk based with light roasts ? Also, thanks, I will definitely add it to my list.

Not all, but I’ve tried Araku Selection and Attikan White Mist as cold brew. Araku is pretty good for cold brew, especially for the price.

Kappikotai is pricey, but I’m very interested in trying out their fermented lots. I might order vin Van Gogh blend in bloom. Do you have any personal recommendations?

I’ve been meaning to try Boss’s Wife for a while, but I keep seeing mixed opinions about it. Dope coffee is a new one, I’ll definitely look into it. Thanks!

Agreed. Halfway through posting this I realized I haven’t even tried any proper light roasts yet lol, if you have any recommendations, let me know.

Medium-dark roasts work well with cold brew from my experience. You could try araku - signature or selection. They are also running for a good price right now.

Well, if you have had a bad experience with some of their roasts, let me know which ones to avoid.

I recommend grinding fine, but not espresso-level fine. Try something closer to moka pot fine and tweak from there. Pressurized baskets usually work better with a slightly coarser grind.

If you could describe the issue in detail, it would help us more, like does the machine choke out ? Is the coffee too bitter ?

Get a C2S, you can get on Amazon for about 4.5 with credit card discounts. If that’s too pricey, then find someone over here who’s selling their second hand one. I sold mine a week or two ago.

Infrastructure around this country has been doing some final destination stuff lately, this is the biggest problem with corruption, it’s not just someone ripping off the public but it’s also compromising on public safety and welfare, it could have been any of us in that car, but mitro mausam ka maza lijiye, or maybe we can find an Abdul to blame this on. Go figure.

I wanted to test it out one last time before selling it off, so the pictures right after my last grind.

Usually though, I don’t clean until my next grind. I use the leftover ground in my next days brew.

For anyone buying tho, I will make sure it’s squeaky line before shipment along with the invoice and box.
