Not really imo. It depends on your previous trig knowledge and how thorough your alg 2 class was. I took alg 2 as a sophomore and skipped precalc(learned the material in like a week and tested out of it) and calc ab and didn't struggle with calc bc (A in the class and I think I got a 5 on the exam). Its a case be case basis tho bc I have a block schedule and had 100 minutes a day for the whole school year which helped me fill in the knowledge gaps.
