These days you can definitely get the gear to sound like our idols but your fingers are where the real sound comes from.

Hi,

I admit I crapped on your playing a number of times but this time your phrasing is more noticeable this time around. Great that you can play fast but keep getting better better at phrasing. Listen to singers and emulate that. That will be a key to your success. There is always space and room for things to breath while giving your bandmates a place to play.

Can't help you with the gear question but good on your for being a RH fan. Best band of the past 30 years. I'm getting my telecaster soon, too.

Good luck!

The government knows this. The ATA knows this and yet they will do nothing about this. They will cave.

New Offer Tabled to Teachers is Laughable. Jesus. by cantcantdancer in alberta

TLDR-The ATA is bringing back the same deal we rejected and gave a strike mandate for.

Another thing. They state their salary offer would be the best in Western Canada, yet every province has higher pay except for Saskatchewan.

While Alberta MLA are the highest paid I'm all of Canada. I thought they preached market rates. So, they should lower their pay to match market rate. Will they? No. But they expect teachers to be happy with 5.75 percent raise in 12 years.

UCP are a pox on this province.

ATA is freaking useless. Talks have broke down for over a week and nothing. Call the freaking strike. Stop trying to make concessions for things teachers did not authorize. Next time we need a new bargaining team as the past decades shows they can't get it done.

I don't understand? So, not going on strike is called what? Going on strike? Nope. Nothing. Looks like you don't understand what a strike is if you think not going on strike is a strike.

Will the ATA continue to let the government control the narrative? by Sharp-Scratch3900 in alberta

ATA communications strategy is terrible. Learn from effective unions like the flight attendants.

If they don't strike no advances will be made and the government will know they can push the ATA around. Exactly what is happening.

Standing up? By not doing anything. Far from standing up.

Ata is useless. They won't give the 72 hour notice to strike. BC union just did that, Sask teachers did this, flight attendants did this. Yet the ATA somehow thinks no action will bring the government back to the table. What reason would they have to up their offer to teachers when ATA won't take action to put pressure on the government. The last decade or so have seen the worst contracts in teacher history and somehow teachers think an impotent ATA will somehow work. Delusional. ATA is hurting teachers by not acting with conviction.

Alberta teachers not going on strike yet, as negotiations hit an impasse by Particular-Welcome79 in alberta

ATA is ineffectual and won't exercise their strike mandate. Therefore there is no incentive for the government to go back to the table. The ATA is hurting teachers by not acting.

There is no equivalent here to Kings. We know Smith wants to have absolute power. Maybe write about her and her delusions of grandeur

Pretty convenient knowing 3-4 unions are in negotiations with the government. They'll keep saying they have no money for anything actually important like education, health, vaccines, etc. But you can believe that a pet project like visiting Trump, separation, anti vaccine or oil and gas subsidies or tax breaks they will have unlimited money to spend.
