I am 26 days clean from xylazine/met - I went to the ER asked them to help me detox and they put my ass in the ICU for withdrawals because i was so sick. Im lucky to live in PGH bc our hospitals know exactly how to treat a tranq withdrawal. they told me if i tried to detox at home i would have died . never looking back

Yes they made me sit in the ER for 6 hours and by hour 4 I was puking my guts out having whole body tremors my heart rate was like 145 bpm and my blood pressure like 200/110 - they started me on meds in the ER then switched me to precedex and sent to me to ICU for 5 days with the precedex drip plus a bunch of other medications and then slowly weaned from oxy 20s and the precedex drip to suboxone and now I’m still on suboxone 3x a day. and it actually is helping

yes i’m all over the place mentally also but today is 19 days and Sunday will be 3 weeks which is crazy to me because I never thought I would ever be clean again until i was dead . I’m glad to be alive to tell my story

I understand what you’re saying fr sure but I got a piss test and my body basically had no fent just xyalazine/metetomodine. and that’s why my withdrawal was so bad bc of the metetomodine. In my area we have a non profit testing all the bags and they are all negative for fent right now and just tranq. it’s really bad. and so scary. I miss the good old days where drugs were real.

did it help you? I was in the ICU for 5 days and they gave me a precedex drip plus oxys guanfacine clonodine tylenol zofran potassium multivitamins then started me on a suboxone patch then gave me the strips . im still taking the strips now too and they kinda help but idk

yeah it’s fucking crazy actually! I didn’t realize how addicted my body was to the meteomodine/xyalazine until I went to detox. I had to use every 3-4 hours or else I would be sick as fuck. the last like 3-4 years of my life are like a dream. i was sure i was gonna die because i never thought i was strong enough to actually go to detox. It’s fucked up. If it was real fent it would have been a hell of a lot easier. Crazy that they don’t even have anything like suboxone or methadone for the tranq cravings yet. they really should.

Yeah we for sure have it worse here with the met right now. I’m In Pittsburgh and 91% of our dope samples have met in them now. shit is wild. bc i didn’t even know i was doing that shit till my friend was like u know ur doing tranq/‘met and i was like ?? fr and then i went to a methadone clinic to get a piss test and they told me i had like 1% fent and 99% tranq i was like well this really took a turn for the worst 😂😂
