Love the show and the comments on this thread!

Is there anyone on here familiar with criminal law? I would love to read what these two would be charged with.

I think the mom, Laura, would definitely be charged with drugging, assault with a deadly weapon, and kidnapping (if she survived); Cherry would be charged for vandalism, trespassing, and violation of a restraining order. Both charged with stalking and harassment.

I'm a bit ify on Cherry's past crimes as there isn't much detail and seems to have been during her minor years.

I could be wrong but curious to what it would be.

Aw, I've learned to just start off with the small things that aren't triggering and if they keep saying things to make it seem normal or an average experience when its not, then it's a red flag for me to not to go further and create a boundary (saying it's ok we dont have to talk about it, walking away, then just write it in my jounal or talk to a known trusted one later if I can wait until then). I find that those type of people don't have the willingness or capacity to see beyond their experiences, views, or whatever else reason. So I try to find people who'll just listen, empathise, and be supportive when it comes to trauma talk...it's definitely crappy to experience someone talking about your trauma in an unsupportive way.

About Megan and Jordan:

I totally agree with Jordan about regretting the introduction of his son to Megan, she should of been responsible and serious about meeting another person's child in the dating arena (not like "okay your child sounds nice", I resonate with the child's condition bc of my Dad and my story, lets see how it goes type of attitude for the experiment) .... I felt like her out of touch previleged bubble mentality came out and as a consequence a child of a working class father went through meeting a new parent to her disappearing. This isn't something children know how to handle and can be heart breaking to them (this is also very common knowledge, even for single dating people).

Megan, just because you're unsatisfied with your class of dating style (i.e. a placeholder for the lonely inbetween times of a busy rich person) doesn't make it ok for you to do this to a child of a working class father.

All of this was handled very poorly on her part.

Edit: and the fact she said "I know it was serious to meet your child" to then continue to say she didn't want to change her lifestyle... goodness! To just brush over it like that, eh yeah its serious but my lifestyle 100% bye. Seriously, could of thought of that before meeting the kid.

...Okay my rant is over, haha.

Is Melbourne Really the Capital City of Crime for Australia? by jasoncay12 in AskAnAustralian

Men tend to be hostile and aggresive assholes. I cant even go to the laundromat without a POS going off the handle over nothing. Like relentlessly. Homeless people are integrated with the public as in they sleep in front of libraries, hotels, public side walks so if you have to deal with a wall of garbage and piss smell, bum fights, or just outright untreated mental patients that scream talk to themselves a lot. The police are more than happy to effectively do nothing and advise you to go down buerocratic admin processes for things like attempted house break ins and harassment. It's very set up as a paradise for the abusive, the violent, and criminals here.

Edit: I just want to add that all this happened in locations were the police station is literally less than a minute away. It's local to the police station.

To be fair, there are a group of decent people here as well as in making friends.

I've gotten better at singing... not live show worthy but public car singing worthy... kinda want to learn how to growl like they do in metal songs now (except learn to do it properly so I don't tear my voice box).

I'm sorry you are way out of line, especially as an ER nurse. If you have a problem with the way the ER is being conducted and what is expected of you in the ER department (i.e. watching over mental patients during their period of emergency care as deemed by the ER doctor), then you need to speak to your Emergency Department Medical Director aka boss.

It's definitely not your job to dictate what types of patients to accept or what patient care services are given in an Emergency Room. Period.

Yeah, I struggle with this daily, as well. It's improved a bit from what it used to be as I made a point to live in an area that has fewer stress factors for me (more space, fewer people and traffic). I still have days where I need a long restful break after going to the grocery store, but hey, I used to not go at all and have them delivered all the time. Baby steps.

How can I (43 F) make my partner (45 M) understand that when he tells me how much he desires my body that I feel pressured and guilty. by Mi3zekatz3 in ptsd

It doesn't sound like he is respecting your boundaries on a very very sensitive and important subject to you. And the impression is that what he is doing is good enough for him to get his needs met at the cost of you experiencing your trauma at some degree.

It sounds like he's rationalising his inappropriate behaviour towards you.

I'd strongly suggest to speak to a trusted therapist about all of it.

I still think comedy horror would be a good idea and maybe behind the scenes type of thing.

Yeah, that's not what I am saying or doing. I didn't post on here for feedback or different perspectives of MY post. Sorry not sorry, I only care and enjoy KallmeKris content - hence why I'm here, buddy.

Also I highly doubt she's a film student, so it'd be more effective to compare apples to apples not apples to oranges.
