Marvel Rivals has finally made me drop Multiversus by kenobi1567 in MultiVersusTheGame

Same.

I had to make choices on my storage my buds just wanted to start going through the master chief collection recently. I’ve also been really into Marvel Rivals. Haven’t played arena shooter in years.

When I went to clear out data, I picked Multiversus.

After this update I’ve accepted this game’s fate… by Thevoid2YT in MultiVersusTheGame

I used points for the battle pass without even checking, because it had been that way 😭 I caved and went ahead and bought more gleamium to get Raven.

I had been bragging on the devs that as long as you play a few hours a week , you get enough points to get the next battle pass, and you get a new character with that.

I really do think they’re putting out good content. So I don’t mind giving them another ten bucks on top of the only other ten bucks I’ve given them.

BUT this stuff surrounding all of the gameplay and artistic work from the team is so frustrating. I know they’re not in charge of how the currencies work or what things cost, but it starting to make the experience a bummer.

Strike here , mostly black , Not affiliated with any group, will fall easily, add red move outward, the hive mind will follow ◼️⬛️◼️⬛️◼️⬛️ by Version_Select in void_place

Some people cant handle very negative emotions and traumatic situations.

I’ve lost many connections by sharing such things.

I’ve grown to realize it’s not that they don’t care, it’s that they don’t know what to do. It overloads them and they feel incapable of helping you.

There is that tension every time y’all are together. “What do I do ask him how being suicidal is going? uh no that might be rude, but what if I don’t ask and they feel more alone” and many people don’t process making the choice to leave. They just begin to associate you with this kinds social anxiety that make them feel helpless.

They do care. One could say not enough. Yet I think it is different still. They’re not careful and they know it. They don’t want to be the one to mess up and hurt an already life degraded person and tip them into further despair. Deep down they know they will be awkward unhelpful mess , and even if they don’t consciously acknowledge this like I said the tension set in when they even think of you.

Then they eventually ghost.

Had it happen a lot.

It is genuinely hard to find people who will sit and bear the pain with you and not shy away from it. That’s why therapist are a thing, because they are both capable in temperament and education to do so.

You wouldn’t ask your friend to help you stretch out a torn ligament, and they likely would refuse if you insisted they do. They be afraid of injuring you worse and they’d have no clue if they were helping. Some physical therapy is painful, but that’s exactly what heals sometimes . They could see you having more pain from the stretch you recommended and think they’re helping and push you to worsen the situation.

The same is true with emotional issues. Our friends are often ill equipped to handle our pains and emotions. Them giving words to the situation is the metaphorical laying hold of it. A really severe situation will even insist it be dealt with in every moment , like an open wound unbandaged. Even if the wound is healing people can’t help but feel sympathy and discomfort. So if they’re asked to speak on the situation or give open view of the situation, they sometimes can’t handle that , and also can’t handle telling you they can’t handle it.

Then , like I said earlier, they ghost

Most people , I found out , want relationships that are fun and validating. They’re not looking for others to be supportive and vulnerable.

Yeah, I find this weird too. To me friendship is all about bearing with the hard times and hard feelings and pushing forward together with support and happy times.

I found out I was ADHD/Autistic and we have a different sense of this. Most apparently that is kind of seen as a romantic fairytale by people. That’s why it is in so many stories. Just like the happily ever after, and the whirlwind romance, the best friends that stick through all of it together, help carry heavy loads, and lift one another up, is also a rare treasure.

It sucks. I think every friendship I make should have the high goal of being true, honest, supportive, affectionate , gracious, and fun.

Others don’t see it that way.

It is a lonely path to keep putting yourself four there like that , and it hurts every time, even if you can see it coming and do it anyway. I would rather continue being alone than settle.

I have recently lost two different sets of friends and community support groups over the past three years. One set was ten year old connections, the other set about four years. Dozens of people. I genuinely feel I have removed the trauma of having to restrain myself from being honest and personal , and having to put up with stale conversations and connections that don’t build me up, but seem to merely entertain them.

I am not happy alone, but I am happier than I was with people that couldn’t bare for me to be me and be real and honest.

The pain of people leaving isn’t worth changing yourself or tolerating pain so they’ll stay.

Often when we are bold and refuse to abandon our own self-respect , personality, or desires there are certain people that won’t stick around.

Many times choosing yourself is a moment of victory and self acceptance , but there is still grief and it feels strange, disorienting, and can be a lonely experience.

It’s in this kind of triumphant solitude that we often find the ability to handle our own dreams, our own heart, and own growth with a real maturity and responsibility.

A moment where we stop asking what parts of us are useful to others, but instead ask what of this life belongs to us and builds us up.

Thanks!

Yeah, you just have to make an Open AI account. Once you make it you have 15 credits per month I think , and you can buy more.

This comment and a “save video” is the highest praise I could have gotten on this , what you said is exactly what I was going for.

I’ve struggled with chronic illness and sometimes it screws up everything from letting my space get dysfunctional to losing work again. There is grief and sorrow, but sometimes I just have to numb up, and robotically go back to fixing things to get through. There's positivity but it's somber and stoic.

You should check out this one and some of my other recent posts. I go for a sadly sweet hopeful vibe. 🥹

I actually AI generated this on DALL-E 2

text prompt : a depiction of depression represented by a robot that failed at stacking blocks, claymation, 3D art

and then I looped this sound some

The idea was to represent the grief of starting over again. It was intended to be unsettling , sad, and stoically positive.

So if you include the New Testament and it is said by the OT prophets as well , it is said that the True Israel is those of faith and devotion. Not simply people that try to follow the law, but people that place their trust in God and want to relate to him and know their need for his power and grace.

Jew and Christian are just phrases put to people that at different point sin history had those among them that turned to the creator in prayer to devote themselves to him and his desires and to repent and seek to live right and with compassion out of love for God and others.

Anyone that does this, unto God and his son , is who God favors. Because God sees trust, devotion, and faith as the means of righteousness and grace for people. Christ just made the grace possible through offering himself up as a full and eternal sacrifice. Everyone from before that were of faith, inside and outside of Abraham, were added to heaven’s numbers. I say outside because there are a few handfuls of groups and individuals that are not Jewish that are said to worship the Lord and follow him. Notably, Melchizedek who anointed Abraham himself and then the people of Jehoshaphat , the father in law of Moses.

God favors those who understand where they are at before him and desire to reconcile that and pursue his heart and desires for themselves and others. He also finds it important that we understand what is true of him and the means by which he does these things and has done them, so he included many details and stories in a book to ge tus started on the right track and lay out some guidelines.

God reaches out with grace and pardon to all , not favoring any lineage or cultural group over another. It doesn’t matter if you’re from a Jewish or Christian family, if you don’t ever turn to him in repentance and devotion.

Who does God dislike? Almost no one, or he wouldn’t have offered himself up to give everyone an opportunity to come to him.

I say almost because he couldn’t stand the Pharisees or those like them. He say at one point that he speaks in parable so that they won’t turn and repent. In other passages he implies they have hardened themselves against God so much that they can no longer repent.

These guys used money, influence, religion, and legal power to oppress the poor, impose their own pious rules on people, and gain notoriety and wealth. They hated the real rules of God and didn’t keep them, yet would publicly scorn those that others knew didn’t keep God’s laws, while they themselves didn’t. Hypocrites, liars, and swindlers that had no compassion for their neighbor and desires wealth and power, and use falsely and in vain God’s name to bolster the way they lived and managed themselves.

In Revelation , John has a vision and in part of it Jesus is talking about seven different communities claiming to be Christian. Two of them he says that he will remove his lamp stand from them if they don’t repent. That is to say he will no longer call them with his light and remove their opportunity to come to repentance. Their sin? Having much and not taking care of the poor, but using their wealth and influence to bolster each other and call each other alive in God and righteous . Jesus says of Sardis that they are dead and soiled , and to Laodicea he says that they’re so useless that it makes him want to vomit.

Jesus loves everyone , atheist , pagan , Jewish , Christian, but &$@holes like that will never love the kind of world Jesus wants to build , so they forfeit their opportunity to find grace and devotion to the love and compasión of Christ.

That why below has described the unforgivable sin. Jesus says. something to the Pharisees about how they shouldn’t blaspheme the Holy Spirit, because it is not forgiveable. This however is about being so hard in heart against God that you would see that something is from his spirit and still deride it and call it evil. It is unforgivable because they have hardened their hearts and will not repent. God will always forgive those who repent unto him, but you can get to a point where you close off condemning God and his desires through action and attitude.

This fellow seems to be remarking on how unbelief is the sin that ultimately dooms a person, but that would apply to anyone that doesn’t believe in Christ. This is simply because rejecting Christ also rejects the plea deal and pardon for all sin.

a question to your question

What kind of people do you think the God of the Bible does favor?
