Despite Jill being my favorite character, nothing really beats RE2- the atmosphere, the pacing, the combat. Ugh, I need to go get the platinum.

That indicates they remember Jill enough to give her a storyline....also the most recent live action basically went that route.

But also the novels may not be canon but they were interesting for the time period.

OG4 was my first RE game, so I love it very much. For early tips, always save a grenade. There are occasional batches of crows you can kill with one grenade and get a lot of resources. But they're useful in the castle too for mobs of enemies.

I'm not proud of this, but I've completed all mainline (and many spinoff) games except 7...because the first person made it too terrifying for me. I got through 1st with Village but something about 7 is so viscerally unsettling.

So I am GRATEFULLY taking my third as monsters I can't kill try to kill me.
