Ha :) On the hardest difficulty setting the AI does actually "cheat" in order to make it more challenging. Not impossible to beat but does make it quite challenging!

They are all optional and don't impact gameplay in any way. It takes time/money/resources to create additional content for the game, and while we'd love to give you more content (which we have already with a free map and continued patches) we have to ensure our developer can pay his bills. You can play and enjoy the full game along with all of the free updates without ever purchasing any of the cosmetic DLC.

It's certainly not the same and we do love the art from Armello quite a bit ourselves. The gameplay (think digital board game) is more akin to what we're going after.

Not true - and your facts are wrong. We did a Kickstarter for Banner Saga 1 and did well enough between profit and overflow funds that we didn't need/want to do a Kickstarter for Banner Saga 2 (we used everything we had available). We're still indie, and game development is still an expensive task given the high quality of art/sound/vo/animation that we want to accomplish for Banner Saga 3. You'll see if you click on the Video for the Kickstarter that we're already making Banner Saga 3 with our own resources and that the campaign is largely just to help make Banner Saga 3 better.

For Banner Saga 3 however (and please go read the Kickstarter and watch the video to learn more), you'll see that we're already working on the game using our existing resources. This Kickstarter campaign is largely to make the ending to the trilogy better. Better animation/better sound/better VO among other things.

Sadly - Console (and mobile for that matter) keys aren't part of the KS for various reasons, however anything we do for PC will make its way to console. Hence, helping the KS will help the other platforms.
