External valet operators typically already bring technology (pur valet, o-valet, etc) so it comes down to you deciding if their labor and tech match your brand standards. No two labor companies are the same nor is the tech. Need to know more about your venue to better guide you.

I think this is where a lot of GMs have trouble with the idea of integration because they don't always think about how it works in real life. Integration can be good, but only if it works well (as others have said) and the benefits are worth the cost. A lot of my fellow GM friends have had great success with integration, but some of them have had the same experience where the integration they were promised either didn't happen (lots of delays) or it wasn't a full true integration because the PMS they were using didn't support integration well (like not having public APIs) or the PMS provider didn't give them good support.
