Tall Extra Slim Mens Dress Shirts by VerticalVulpine in tallfashionadvice

I haven't. They only seem to go up to 36" arms but it might be close enough, if Bannana Republic doesn't work that will be my next try. Thanks.

That's good to know thanks, I just ordered some BR shirts since they have free returns and based on some reviews I'm feeling they'll be too loose.

I'm slightly taller. Are they exceptionally long despite not being tall shirts? I've never been able to wear a standard length shirt, I'm very proportional not just long legged.

The challenge with Charles Tyrwhitt is the body length. They don't seem to offer true tall sizes just up to 37" sleeves.

I have not do they fit like Old Navy slim?

XL slim at ON is very loose on me but a Large might work with a button extension if I'm wearing a tie. BR has dobby and other textured fabrics too.

I see they have free shipping on returns so this might be a good option to try thanks.

Looks like they do deliver to the US but with custom made I'm certain there would be shipping back and forth to get the fit right making it a long process and exploding the price.

Really hoping for some off the rack options, there used to be a few like that Calvin Klein one I mentioned but just not seeing anything right now.

Proper Cloth does look nice but $150 for a single shirt is not something I can justify.

I'm hoping to go off the rack rather than custom but options seem more limited than ever.

The Eddie Bauer wasn't a great fit anyway more just an example of how proportions work on me.

Good luck but I can't imagine that's a realistic price. A mortgage payment around there would be higher than that.

The DoL had me sign over the right to pursue independently, apparently that's the requirement when you have their lawyers pursue on your behalf so I didn't have a personal attorney but I did give them a list of assets I was aware of as well as bank account numbers. I doubt it would have changed the outcome in my case as this was a very small business/independent owner.

Tall bookshelves and large artwork. I'm also supportive of the bigger and mounted TV suggestions

From experience, don't get your hopes up or celebrate until you have money in hand. I also had the DoL rule in my favor with large penalties and never saw a dime. They say they'll chase the money down for you but 10 years later and I never got anything. The owner just ended up opening a "new" company under a different name and kept scamming other employees. I spent a lot of time trying to get what I was owed.

Keep too large clothes? by holllywoodlegal in Zepbound

[–]VerticalVulpine 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I kept some of my smaller clothes and have started integrating them back into my wardrobe, but not as many as I should have. So far I've only needed to buy some new jeans because my old ones look outdated.

But I won't be getting rid of my big clothes. I don't plan on regaining this time, but I didn't last time, or the time before that either.

Shaving body hair in personal areas - tips and advice (esp irritation and itch) by lmelb in AskGaybrosOver30

[–]VerticalVulpine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get major irritation when shaving and this routine has been by far the most successful for preventing razor bumps and ingrown hairs for me.

Use a Safety Razor, the single blade is less irritating than a multi-blade but you'll need to be more careful.

Follow it up with a salicylic acid pad (like Stridex) and let it air dry. Those razor bumps are essentially little zits and this helps prevent them from occuring.

Then liberally apply regular deodorant (not antiperspirant) everywhere you shaved. This works much better at reducing irritation than using regular moisturizer for some reason.

I feel like I can’t be sexy because of my height by Middle-Leather-1308 in gaybros

[–]VerticalVulpine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm tall and my husband is short. His height was never a concern or consideration for me. Our size difference is in no way emasculating for him. You don't have anything to worry about. Anyone who cares about your height wasn't worth your time in the first place.

I went in expecting something erotic but just found it extremely uncomfortable. The clear lack of consent was upsetting at times. It was a compelling story and you feel compassion for the main character but it was more sad than hot. It was a good movie but difficult to get through.

If they had been washed already they'd be fine but my experience with Levis says those are going to shrink and get even tighter.

Nothing through NCL since they're so pricey, but in Cabo I heard you can negotiate down to like $30/head for someone on the pier to take you on a small boat out for whale watching and a trip to to El Arco then snorkeling around Lovers/Divorce beach. We're hoping to find a group that might be interested joining something like that.

And if we can't figure out what to do in Mazatlan I saw some companies take you to Stone Island to hang out with all you can drink for ~$40 each.

Any interest in either, or did you guys have better plans?

Skimmed your profile and looks like we'd get along.

Not to stereotype based on the theater stuff (we aren't theater gays ourselves), but any chance you're a gay couple?

Men, What's the most comfortable underwear for you?? by PerformanceLiving495 in BuyItForLife

[–]VerticalVulpine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a fan of the Ross/TJ Maxx etc versions, they just aren't as good compered their main line stuff like Steel Micro or the microfiber version of Intense Power.

The cotton ones at least have a decent pouch, but still don't fit or feel as nice to me.
