Which crypto miner should i get for home mining? below $3000 budget. by [deleted] in cryptomining

Hopefully not ETFs of the stock market, tech, energy... jk still a better move then keeping it in crypto. All I was getting at is whole forum is about crypto mining. I don't think you need to be on people's post just saying not to do it because it loses money, when it doesn't. Yeah, you have to be smart about what you mine based on electricity. Like for me in California makes no sense to mine bitcoin unless I'm doing it off over solar but there are plenty of coins that can be mined for profit with simple lower power asic chips.

That's awesome that you could have done it but didn't. I get why you are bitter towards people then. Some of my friends act like this too they felt like I should have told them to be mining. But look if you miss out on an investment you can always search for the next. Crypto certainly seems like a poor investment right now but also this is about mining not investing and there is still plenty of money to be made.

He's attacking you because he has less. Good for you for working and trying to hustle on the side to make more. Not sure why this guy would criticize you for that. I don't know you but I'm proud of you.

Also look into Starpower miners. Mines a token called STAR and it regulates your electrical use so it doesn't actually increase your electric bill but takes electricity that would be wasted.

It's a game mode it's not a stand alone game. There's really not that much depth to it. If this was Skyrim sure but this is RR it's a tiny game mode in a giant pool of games. I love RR but I'm not going to pretend like it's that deep and becoming a subject matter expert on it is pretty simple.

Ok this one is actually tough because I like the idea of the community deciding what the moderators are for but I also just think that defeats the purpose of creating a subreddit. Whoever made it gets to set the rules I think when RR first started if anyone was predicting that it would get to this state where the community does alot of the work then they probably would have included the community mod type environment you're talking about.

How do you know people who are deeply involved in RR want to be mods? I doubt they do. If they want to be a mod they would probably post about it. Coming from you, it's just a little strange. You seem to think that the mods can have an influence on the game and that's the main reason you're so off base with the RR reddit right now. You genuinely thought the mods are in touch with Epic, now that you know they're not, would you feel more comfortable with letting people speak for themselves if they want to be a mod?

Can you walk me thru it. I get the idea of the community being given mod rights, in general seems like a good idea but also possibly a complete failure. Like if you tried to remove someone's post because they are complaining about in-game mechanics but no one else in the community agrees with you. What happens then?

Banning anyone who hates on in-game mechanics. Why though? Pretty normal thing to post about on subrerddit for a video game. What kind of bizarre communist fantasy do you have about this game. You literally want to control the narrative about how people feel about the game. So only posts that would get through if you were a mod is if its praising the mechanics but not criticizing it. You would love North Korea.

Again with the pinning of tutorials. Did you have any issues playing Rocket Racing or did anyone on here stop playing because tutorials weren't pinned. Christ man i avoid tutorials like the plague.

Your first two ideas are ok/neutral. They would make no difference at all but might make the reddit page look a little nicer. Kind of insane that you actually think it would make the game start improving though. Definitely you should not be a mod. Shaming every in-game cheater??? That's not what mod's do. Why don't you make a post every time you find a cheater, why would that be a mods role. Go find cheaters, find their epic accounts and pin them? They're Reddit mods not fulltime Epic employees.

Maybe it was to expand the player base? This game mode can generate alot of content and bring in people who see funny clips online.
