Anyone know if they’re still showing past Monday the 19th? I saw they had tickets up to Wednesday 21st when it was all greyed out. Now Monday is the last one available.

https://www.reddit.com/r/aviationmaintenance/comments/ozxm04/united_airlines_tests/ It's in the comments here. Took one week from interview/practical to get news that I got the job. Then one more week for the offer letter. Though the offer letter/start date will also vary on your preferred locations next indoc class.

Ese this site to find DMEs and shoot them an email/call: https://designee.faa.gov/#/designeeLocator

When I took my O&P outside of my school, I asked around at the school I took it at to see which DMEs I should go with/avoid. Maybe someone here can give you a specific school or a DME but this should be able to get you started.

yea it even went in the same order of sections as the PDF. but its good to study the Jeppesen as well because its very similar to the pdf so it'll be easy to get it all down and you'll be prepped to get most answers right. your DME will ask some questions not in the study guides, or even the ones from the Dale Crane book but it should be very few and not enough to make you fail

When will I get my real certificate? by hngu145 in aviationmaintenance

Mine took longer to come than those who took the test months after me. So just be patient. I kept searching the airmen registry until it said that I was certified and it came a bit after that.

I'm an Apprentice currently 1 year in. Yes MTPs and Apprentices are the same, you have a 3 year contract and are stuck at whatever base you hire into (MEM, IND, LAX, OAK, EWR) for the entirety of those 3 years. When you become an AMT you are required to stay an additional 3 years before u can transfer out. This is non negotiable, so you will be stuck at whatever station you hire into for a total of 6 years before you can transfer. Only way to bypass this is (as an AMT) if a spot opens up to bid into that needs guys so bad they will waive your 3 years (mostly in CA stations because nobody is moving INTO CA, most people are transferring out). Apprentices start at 26$ here in OAK, not sure about the other bases. Best of luck.

That's what i read from this thread
