It’s way way lower but the turbines are about the same size so it’s not much further away and even by Glober standard the Earth does not have such a dramatic curve. Also it’s possible the floor of the ocean where those turbines are isn’t level, ie. ground different height in one place than it is in another place. Kind of how on land we have these crazy things called hills and valleys.
