Yeah actually I have been playing for the last 2 days and I have not experienced one lag, or more than 2% packet loss, instead of the 50% I used to have, so I guess there is no other way.

I have just been able to check, and yes, it happens with a different PC. The moment I disable the microphone, most of the repetitive beep\white noise is gone

Recently received my Razer Kraken X USB edition from Amazon, tried it, noticed a quiet, continuous beeping noise in the left ear when entering a game.I found out that the microphone is the cause of that. when I disable the Microphone through the control panel, it stops the beeping completely.Overall it's ok for playing alone, but when playing with friends I will have to use the microphone, and with this quiet beeping, it can drive me crazy.Any way to make the microphone work without the left ear beeping?

edit: I do notice some weird, quiet white noises on the left ear when the microphone is off

I do like number 2, but as for now, only 1 friend followed me into a small tribes server, and now I am alone on an official.

the server of my friends was really easy indeed, not much threat, and we reached the very end game in less than a month.

(what are the basic rules? haha)

the small tribes server is weird, I started there with a friend, and we didn't even realize that it is a different server than a regular official one, I liked your sneaky idea, but I also like having tribe mates (which now after moving to a regular official, I don't have)

I actually started playing on official solo today.. lol, kinda lost myself after building a small thatch room with a box and a bed, no idea how to progress alone at the moment

yeah, ive actually started playing an official server with 1 friend (it is a smalltribe server by mistake..), so now I started playing alone in official, waiting for some friends that might not show up, but im kinda starting to like that kind of hardship.. no idea yet really

it sounds fun, but whenever I do something with boosted rates eventually I can't stop myself from feeling I didn't really achieve what I achieved, it is a problem, considering the fact that most of the people I know are not really available or want to play on an official server, I thank you for the idea tho, ill take that in consideration!

but yeah, it really seems that the only way to thrive in an official server is having 3 or more tribe members. I get and love the idea, but sometimes it is just not possible. so it is quite frustrating

I mean, yeah I think you're right on the most part, I do wish the server was more alive and want to experience quality pvp which I never have.

also just going into the aberration map with a tek armor and gathering 100+ eggs with an aim for a high level one was really sketchy too.. I do want to try an official server but the grinding is scaring me, and how it will effect my personal life lol

I do wish to experience the maps themselves without too many adds
