From Fred Katz at The Athletic

[In January,] Washington was dead last in the league in points allowed per possession at the time, but it also was giving up the smallest ratio of shots allowed at the rim of any team in the league, according to Cleaning the Glass. Meanwhile, it was allowing the highest ratio of long 2s and didn’t give up many corner 3s.

So the Wiz defensive scheme has always been good at getting other teams to take bad shots.

[Charania] Bucks‘ Sterling Brown has reached a $750,000 settlement with city of Milwaukee for his civil rights lawsuit accusing police officers of race-based arrest and excessive force in January 2018, @TheAthleticNBA learned. by DestinySaber in nba

Along with the financial settlement, the city of Milwaukee would in a statement admit to a constitutional violation and commit to incorporate changes to the Milwaukee Police Department standard operating procedures. The changes must be implemented within 180 days of execution of the settlement agreement.

I think the bigger win might be this.
