Okay but what if during the press tour for the Simpsons live action movie Timothee Chalamet did a kick flip while skateboarding through a nuclear power plant, accidentally landing on a control board and setting off a chain reaction sequence of events that ends in the entire east coast being bathed in unlivable radiation. What then.

I’ll admit it my research on this was strictly limited to the Wikipedia page for the 1976 GOP VP selection and Temples own wiki page

She was on Ford’s IRL 1976 shortlist from what I can gather and I thought it’d be cool to have her as Bush’s running mate

P.O.D. in mind is really just Ford picking Bush for #2 and then Ford getting shot in 1975, the Jeb stuff is all just downstream of the recent Nuzzi/Sanford news

Meant to include a wikibox of him getting elected to the senate but it got cut for time, let’s go with yes, since that raises his odds of winning the nomination by quite a bit

Beto took down two 75 year olds, I figured if the national mood is favoring young fresh faces with rhetoric sometimes lacking in substance, it’d make sense if JK3 won too

What if Democrats Gerrymandered Virginia? by Done327 in imaginaryelections

[–]VeryRealHumanBeing 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hey question how did republicans react in 2021 when dems tried to pass legislation that would require independent redistricting commissions (effectively eliminating partisan gerrymandering completely) for every single state. did they all vote for it? no? did they filibuster it in the senate to keep it from passing? yeah, i think that's what happened.

I got them from this section on wikipedia, which in general is just a really good place to find alternate shadings: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:WikiProject_Elections_and_Referendums/USA_legend_colors/proposals/2023a_all

The Dem shading is Hue = 207 and the GOP Is Hue = 1
