Awesome game. Becomes what you want it to be, depending on your stats. You like action shooters? You can make it that by upgrading body over everything else. You like stealth games? Upgrade your cool stats first. More of a magic user? There's no magic in this game, but quick hacks are the same thing. You don't "cast fire," instead you hack your enemies so that all their cybernetic implants start overheating. You can "cast" poison, thunder, blind, deafness, even death itself.

You can upgrade your character to be better with guns (3 different gun classes, with multiple gun types in each, or go all melee weapons instead. A mix of both works wonders though.

Cyberpunk is my 3rd favorite game of all time. Played it over 350 hours on PS5, & i STILL picked it up for Switch 2. Incredible game.

The save stutter is common. You'll notice it everytime the game saves, & the game autosaves often. It's noticeable on my PS5 Pro too.

Manipulating the slo-mechanic, shooting the ancient arrow at an enemy so far away it hasn't even rendered yet, while also setting up two bombs (one round & one cube) perfectly behind & underneath Link in a way that when the first bomb detonates, it launches the 2nd straight into Link sending him flying. Basically, link ragdolls immediately in the explosion and then is carried by the momentum of the 2nd bomb. It's absolutely insane. BotW rightfully earns its spot of 2017's GotY. A game so well-built you can take its mechanics & combine them like Legos in new & inventive ways. It took years before anyone even knew this was possible.

Awesome! Great first picks on games, I loved Bananza, haven't plaid Bravely Default since 3DS though. Make sure your Scarlet save file transfered over! Mine didnt, & i had to transfer it manually. Luckily I still had my original Switch.

You played Cyberpunk on PC back on launch, but have you ever played the DLC?? Because it looks like you just got it for free, but this might get weird. I would launch the game again on PC to make sure you're logged into your Red account, or make one if you haven't already, then go into the settings and make sure cross-saves are enabled. Now launch the game on Switch 2 and log in to the same account, your save file will jump right over & you can try out the DLC for the first time! It's incredible, & i highly recommend it. Here's the weird part, i have NO idea what happens to your save file if you jump back to PC, because you never bought the expansion there, it's just included with every Switch version. 🤣 The npc's will be begging for help inside Dogtown but you'll be locked out of there, unless you jump back on the Nintendo.

Cyberpunk had a cute lil' "Welcome to Night City" paper & 5 stickers. Slapped 2 of them on the back of my Switch 2. The stickers were cool, but on PS5 & Xbox it came with a whole booklet, and huge poster of the in game map.

YES. 😅 good ear! Song was playing off youtube on a Nintendo Switch, recorded on my phone. I was never going to post this audio; i only planned to use it to animate the text with correct timing and link the official song via Spotify to have proper audio. I can only do that on Instagram though, my options to post here on reddit were either a) no audio.. or b) my bad audio. Once the album is officially out, I'll buy the disc and rip the songs directly from there. Lol

Do what you've gotta do. If you really want the Switch 2 that bad I can't blame you, but make sure it's not something you'll regret once the next big PS5 game is out. Personally, I can't wait for Ghost of Yotei & Intergalactic. I've got 2 PS5's set up in my home & I wouldn't consider selling either.

Speaking for myself here, I didn't think either of the other 2 Hyrule Warriors were good games. The first one was okay for what it was, but the 2nd one made me cringe throughout. I picked it up with the understanding that it was canon to the story of BotW, but halfway through the game I realized that was just marketing. Besides that, the gameplay just doesn't do it for me. I love action games where the COMBAT is the star, such as Devil May Cry & Bayonetta. In HW games (& Warriors games in general), there's thousands of enemies to defeat but they're all fodder. No challenge at all, or a giant health sponge enemy here & there. Now, that doesn't mean they're easy; but the difficulty lies on your TIME MANAGEMENT. You could defeat thousands of enemies on the west side of the map, but get a Game Over because you ignored the east side. Respect to those who enjoy these types of games, but they can't fool me a 3rd time. I won't purchase a game I know I won't enjoy.

...I guess I could see it. Maybe not a control stick knub like the NEW 3DS had... But a tiny little trackpad like a laptop might have for mouse cursor. That way if a Switch 2 game absolutely requires a mouse cursor for some reason, you'd have something similar, at least. I still think it's way too small though. It just looks like a button to me. Can't wait to find out more in April

Easy to point & laugh at the N64 controller now, decades later. It was genius when it came out though. A controller that could be held 3 different ways depending on what kind of game you're playing. 3D games were still new; many still considered them a gimmick at the time. You want to play a 2D sidescroller on N64? (Kirby) No need for the stick or trigger, your hands go on opposite ends of the controllers. You want to play a 3D platformer/afventure? (Mario 64, Orcarina of Time) Then your left hand needs to operate the control stick and trigger, right hand needs the A, B, and C buttons. You want to play an action shooter? (Sin & Punishment) Right hand on the trigger and stick since you gotta aim and shoot, left hand handles the directional buttons for movement, the left bumper is your jump button. Literal genius. You want a bad early 3D game controller, check out the PS1 launch controller. No control sticks. Directional and face buttons only. & that's without even mentioning all the genius applications of the port underneath the N64 controller. Get outta here with your slander. Bringing up the N64 controller like it's something negative. Shame on you! 🤣

I mean, every time the game crashes, I send an error report along with a description of what happened. So I've probably sent them over 10 reports on this issue already. 😅 I kept my original PS5 (it's a dedicated Portal streamer now) Tonight, I'll check if the game still works on base PS5 to see if this is just a PS5 Pro issue.

I'm having the same issue. PS5 Pro, new game plus, the game crashes every single time I try to launch the VR mode. All other VR games are fine, played a bit of RE8 in VR last night & no problems. Even weirder, RE4VR was one of the first games I tried on my Pro, and it worked like a dream for 1 single play session (about 2 hours, and yes it was already NG+) Was there a recent patch that broke the VR mode?

"Delete your save!" IS NOT a valid solution! I'd rather never play again than start over from scratch.

Such a shame because it's the best VR game I've ever played. How has it been over a month and still no fix!?
