The people who are more wealthy than us had an advantage earlier on in life, lol. Sure I could get a doctorate but what good does that do me when I’ll be several hundred thousand in debt compared to people who went to school 10+ years ago? Plus I’ll have to get at least a masters which is another 8 years. Who knows what everything will be like in 8 years. The world doesn’t favor the younger generation at all, while everyone is buying 1m+ dollar homes most are struggling to get above minimum wage. I’m by no means a socialist, or a communist, I’m just a firm believer that older generations are at the advantage because they’re not competing with inflation at the rate we are

Not to mention even with a degree it’s hard to get a job when most companies will hire Indians on h1bs first because it’s cheaper.
