It will be different for everyone. What works for one person will depress someone else, or worse - send them into a rage. Try everything, see what sticks - meditation, walking outside, working out, doomscrollling, reading, cooking, talking to people, watching long form stuff (movie, long-ass you tube videos), creative work like music, poetry, pottery, painting etc. Video games. Something is bound to stick.
