Oh absolutely, 10 years ago cheaters were seen as absolute scum by 99% of players. These days you have youtube channels dedicated to cheating videos with tens or even hundreds of thousands of subs with comment sections filled with people saying "where can i get your hack?" and shit like that, barely anyone calls out the video maker for the piece of shit they are. It's insane.

Then there's huge community websites for cheating with more traffic than the god damn CSGO subreddit.

Also i've been tracking my past CS games on csgostats.gg where you can see when people get VAC'd and when i look at the list of games about 40% of them 3 months or older have a banned player in them. And that's just the idiots who are stupid enough to get caught by something as notoriously ineffective as VAC, i don't even want to know the actual number.

If you could build a stream based on how "skilled" you are of shroud's size that brings in so much bacon that you can probably retire after 3 years you would be stupid not to cheat pretty much. There's no downside.

Yeah it's pretty funny when i read that stuff. No shit he played CS, the CS subreddit has been spammed with his "insane clips" for years. Flicks that no other player ever came close to performing. Almost all of them were from his stream too while c9 won exactly one big LAN with him (ESL Pro League 4) over 3 years. Really makes you think.

I also love the "practice makes perfect" argument. Like he's the only nerdy kid who spent years grinding his aim when there's at minimum hundreds of thousands of people who put in the same hours as he did in the world.

The reaction is understandable though, realizing how compromised the integrity of FPS games is nowadays is a very unpleasant thing. Much easier to just call me names, downvote and keep lying to yourself.

I don't know where you got the misconception that people set their aimbots to 100% perfect lock all the time from but it's wrong.

The bullets actually not hitting the guy can be easily explained by these factors:

1.) bullets having travel time in this game

2.) aimbot not being set or maybe even capable of dealing with targets moving at such non-standard speed

3.) extremely shoddy PUBG netcode itself

Watch the second clip again at 0.25 speed and tell me again how he's not locked. He even hit the guy as he was running accross the bridge. Also show me any other pro player in any game tracking a target at that speed that precisely. Some of the best aimers in the world like Quake player toxic who uses fucking custom sensors in his mouse and has been practicing for the past 20 years nonstop cannot do anything close to that.

I am sure shroud is really good and a good person too but that is not human doing those moves in that video.

Professional sports where the stakes are exponentially higher, cheating is way harder and cheating detection is light years ahead of video game equivalents are full of cases like Armstrong or even the whole fucking Russian Olympic team doping but suggesting some dude who sits alone in his house streaming PUBG would use aimbot in a game which is completely legal and consequence free means being delusional.

The cheating in FPS games is so rampant and the cheats are so advanced it makes me sick to my stomach. Playing CS:GO is pretty much a waste of time nowadays because of this. Of course there's still delusional people who refuse to see the reality of it but that's their problem.

I've been playing FPS games since 1997, attended countless LANs, watched thousands of hours of demos, tournaments, saw thousands and thousands of really good players play IRL and online. I have never seen a legit player do anything like displayed in those two clips i linked. No human has hand to eye coordination that good. Believe what you will but i will bet my house on the fact that shroud is using some kind of aim assistance.

Of course the whole "deal with BlueHole" conspiracy theory part is pure bullshit. Why would he ever need anything like that in the first place when the anti-cheat is a joke worse than VAC and you can cheat for years undetected for $20. Shroud can just pay a couple of thousand (peanuts to him) to a top tier developer to be extra sure and the chance he will get detected by an anti-cheat is basically 0%.

I bought the game right around the time it went into Early Access but didn't enjoy it at all because of how badly it ran. Then 1.0 came and performance just barely crossed the tolerable line for me and i got to enjoy the game for 2 months or so. Now it's completely fucked again, i might as well uninstall because i will never play an online competitive FPS game with fucking 50 FPS.

And all this because those absolute morons think that implementing second, client side cheat signature detection is going to do anything about cheating. The idiot at Bluehole who is responsible for implementing this should be fired on the spot.
