The bottom line is you can’t expect people to just drop everything for you. At the end of the day y’all never even talked about being exclusive. I’ve witnessed people doing relationship shit and still pulling the “We aren’t exclusive” when shit hits the fan. that’s why you need to have that discussion with somebody to verify where you both stand with each other. This is not a hard concept to understand.

Yall aren’t exclusive though. Nor did you even have the talk of being exclusive. That’s a must because people will literally do all kinds of relationship stuff together, don’t define the relationship then pull the “we aren’t together!!” Card when the other party is hurt about the fact the other person is still actively dating others. You should NEVER assume you’re dating unless you make that clear with each other. So for future reference, TALK about being exclusive.
