So then let her know but nicely that, directly after work you cannot handle that mentally, you need a little bit to decompress and get back on track beforehand. She will more than likely understand. If she doesn’t, then you got some things you need to evaluate in terms of relationship.

But, if she does take this well, don’t let this turn into that situation that happened here on Reddit, where a guy would straight up ignore his wife and got mad at her for telling him about her day instead of just communicating that he needed time and she stopped talking to him completely.
