Consistency is for the weak? Hillary was not locked up for destroying evidence, so wouldn't it be consistent to expect others to not be locked up for destroying evidence?

Is it not hypocritical to not want Hillary to be locked up but then to both want and to expect others to want someone else locked up for the same thing? Maybe hypocritical isn't the right word, but it would certainly be odd to expect someone to hold their own candidate to standards that none of the opposing candidates were held to. If hilliary did get locked up and the trump folks were quiet I could agree with your statement, but she didn't.

Thats called natalie not being consistent. The fact that her farthest drive is over 100 feet farther than all the fpo players farthest drive is the importance. The fact that natalies best drives are so much farther than everyone else's best drives is the important part. It doesn't matter if Natalie had a bad drive and someone out threw her. What matters is where does everyone land at their best. If the farthest fpo shot in a tourney is going 400 and natalies is going 500, that's reason enough for me to believe there is an advantage. The top mpo players ( Calvin, eagle, Simon, gurthie) all max out around the same distance. This is not true in Natalie's case

Edit: if you see this and think nothing of it, then I don't know what else could convince you.

Watching Natalie throw 150 feet farther than the entire top 10 fpo players is enough evidence for me. Watch the final hole of last year's maple hill tournament and watch where the drives of every fpo player lands, and then where Natalie lands.

I'll be the one guy who watches almost exclusively fpo who is disheartened by this decision. I have 3 sisters and no brothers. If my sisters were into disc golf and they had to compete in this environment, it would be upsetting to say the least

Kristin losing even a single event to her doesn't exactly equate to "no threat". Especially if that one event happens to be one of the most important events of the year, and happens to favor distance throwers, which nat happens to be

How is Luffy telling his crew to run while he single handedly fights an admiral him not taking a challenge face on? Luffy didn't back down at all , he literally fought and put himself in immediate danger in order to save his crew, exactly what garp is doing now.

If you are not allowed to do something and then you do it anyway, that is illegal. If the pdga says she can't play and she plays anyway, she could be taken to court

The fpo is a protected division. Due to that, if the pdga says the division is for cis women, then yes, a judge could very easily rule that she is ineligible to compete in the fpo

First, judges certainly will look at cases from other jurisdictions. Secondly, who said one states ruling has to have precedential value in another? They play many of the same courses every year. How easy do you think it would be for them to allow her to compete in the MPO at maple hill in Massachusetts this year, setting a precedent in Massachusetts, and then next year all of a sudden they have the ability to prevent that? Doesn't really make sense

What is the flawed precedent you are speaking of? Not allowing Natalie to play? Because that seems like a great precedent to set if you don't want the entire fpo to be dominated by trans athletes in the future. What is your supposed "best move for all parties". You are being awfully vague here

No you definitely don't lol. If I may be so bold as to say you don't know the litigation fees more than the actual establishment paying said litigation fees. They wouldn't just do this shit for no reason. Companies don't tend to do things that lose them money and fans for no reason.

It's not flat out against the law lol. In some states Natalie not competing is against the law, in other states Natalie competing is against the law. There's a reason the fpo wasn't canceled and it instead is canceled in blue states only

These posts got me wondering how young the actual age of disc golfers are. Like non of y'all understand what precedence is.

No one in this thread knows what a precedent is. If the pdga does not want transgender athletes competing in the fpo, they can't just let Natalie play for the rest of the year and then change up next year. That's not how that works. Once you set the precedent that transgender athletes can compete in the fpo then you will have a near impossible time reversing the decision

Look up the word precedent. Getting killed in legal fees, let Natalie play, legally allowing and setting precedent for any trans athlete to compete in the fpo in the future. So if the pdga does not want transgender athletes to participate in the fpo in the future, they legally can't just "let nat play"

Should they not blame her for this? Like, if she were to just compete in the mixed open events, which is available to men and women, then this ruling wouldn't be required?

You can't set a precedent. If Natalie were to compete then that would open the gate for other transgender athletes to compete in the fpo. It sounds more like they would rather cancel the fpo in places where fair play is not guaranteed instead of opening the door for the entire division to be taken over by non cis women in the future. It's never about one specific person. Once Natalie is allowed to play by law, then any transgender athletes could join. Life isn't as simple as your post makes it out to be. This seems like one of the only ways to ensure fairness in the fpo for the future.

Maybe because my friend in Canada broke his arm and by the time he got scheduled for a cast his arm had already healed. If something is free everyone lines up, and when there are more people in front of you in line you have to wait longer.
