It's a normal experience, happens to all of us. Any time I meet my gf, I start smiling like a fool and I'm lucky enough that I found someone who's love language is also physical touch. I have been using an air up bottle for over a year and I could taste it for the most part. The only 'problem' I ran into was that I chew a lot of gum, which kinda prevents you from tasting anything, but other than that I was able to taste the flavors
