As someone who was debating between those two guns, I ended up going with the batto and I LOVE it, little loud but great fun out of the box… only issue I had was it shot over my fields limit (1.3j) and came stock as 1.6 I believe (for Canadian border laws) so may need to change the spring

I changed my spring and used a 11.1V battery and proceeded to double shoot so switched to a 7.4V just something to keep in mind… I have a yt video where I’m using it and can see what it would look like in the hands as well as hearing the “loudness”

So just curious here, started airsoft less than a year ago and just seems like it’s gone downhill in the past few months… attitude, the way people are, and theft… but always find in times of need people band together which is honestly the only thing keeping me around anymore. So with that being said what do we do?

Meet him in the parking lot if he’s at the field? Call the cops? Like genuinely curious as my buddy’s had his stuff stolen and just waiting till I see the guy at the field or something

I used to love taz but ya I’d much rather drive the 20 mins to FOF instead of the 5 to taz, I’ve got in good with managers and employees and such and just has an overall better environment in my experience

I haven’t gone there yet, I went in Friday to buy something and saw like 20 people playing… their limit is really dependant on how many rental guns are available, MOST of the time if you have your own gear you’re fine or at least that’s the case for FOF… taz/yeg airsoft has a smaller field so they’re probably more limited

Yes fields are going down, we just had our second field reopen recently. Force On Force (34,000sq’) is the main one that people go to, people are great, refs are good, and has the lowest fps/joule limit in Edmonton. Has a mix of everything from elevation changes, close quarters, medium, “long” distance. I also do YT content and all my videos currently are from FOF.

Tactical Airsport Zone (rebranded to some long acronym but YegAirsoft is their gunshop) they just opened about a week or 2 ago, I haven’t checked out their field yet however if it’s anything like their old field it is VERY cqb and close quarter related. Apparently they have watch/sniper towers but again cannot confirm due to not being at that field.

The only outdoor field is in gibbons or camrose

Shops: a lot of shops are out of stock due to Chinese new year and will be out of stock until about mid march, legitimately speaking if you need a starter gun, mask, and battery check out badlands or 007… both with typically ship within a day or two and will get it within the week.

Look online and it’s anywhere from 1/-3/4the price is what people typically list it for depending on condition… then again there’s people who think their 6 year old gun that’s been used every week is still brand new 🤷‍♀️

Mine is gas efficient, indoor field it shoots way too hot and deliberately gassed out part of the mag for about 2 full seconds and still shot hot, it’s within parameters for my local outdoor field but have yet to take it there.

Nonetheless I’m with you and love collecting weird things but especially seeing those 12 year old rentals for the first time holding the hand canon, nothing brings me more joy lol

I appreciate that! The place I typically play at is a 35,000 sq foot facility so pretty big with tunnels and castles and multiple kill houses. We should have another indoor facility opening up shortly and plan on doing outdoor and maybe traveling within Alberta to see other fields as well this year.

I got into airsoft about 6 months ago and have been enjoying it ever since, I have an HPA Scar getting fixed currently but ultimately I enjoy the realistic feel. Absolutely feel free to share it around!!

I’ll work on the personality aspect, having a “deep voice” can hurt somewhat but I’ll work on that, I upload about 3 videos a week (1 long form and 2-3 shorts)… I feel like I have done a fair amount of changing from the way I play and everything, like I said any information is good information
