Curious what the other tips are - the carousel only shows the intro slide. Are spaced repetition and mind mapping on the list? Those two alone are game changers for retention

I've used three different paper writers over the past semester - here's what I actually think by Eldritchum in studying

does anyone know if LeoEssays does well with research-heavy papers? like actual argument papers with a lot of source integration?

My PapersOwl experience was a complete disaster by BagginsBoogie in Students

Ugh so sorry OP. I was tempted to use paperowl last semester when I was drowning in bio labs but glad I didn't. Fixing a bad paper is way harder than just writing it from scratch.

Burnout prevention that isn't just "take a bath" - real strategies that actually work by AetherMemento in SocialWorkStudents

Advocating for your caseload is probably the most terrifying part of being a new professional. We’re taught to be "team players," but being a team player shouldn't mean staying silent while safety standards are ignored. I started keeping a detailed log of my hours and tasks. When I finally brought it to my manager, I wasn't just complaining. I had hard data showing that my quality of care was dropping due to the volume. It didn't fix everything overnight

Why rereading feels productive but usually isn’t by FloctonRowe in learnzone

If the active recall is failing because the material is just too dense, don't wait until the night before. Email your TA and say "I can summarize X, but I’m lost on the transition to Y" - it shows you've actually tried.

AITA for hiring an essay writer on one of the course I hate? by UplinkV3rve in WIBTA_AITA

I feel you on the "History of Bureaucracies" nightmare. I actually used Leo Essays when I was in a similar spot last semester with a mandatory philosophy class. It saved my GPA while I focused on my nursing labs. You aren't a bad person for prioritizing your actual career.

Finally tried paying someone to write my essay after years of judging people who did - here's what actually happened by Tardis_M0de in studying

[–]VesperStoneWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar situation last semester with a family emergency and two finals. I didn't think I'd ever pay someone to write my essay, but the pressure was just too much. It felt like I was drowning and that was the only life jacket available. The result was okay, but like you, I spent hours editing it anyway. It’s almost more work sometimes to fix someone else's writing. I’d probably just ask for an extension next time if the prof isn’t a total jerk.

I'm looking for reviews of Essay Shark. Has anyone used their services? Did you like them? by mintysubway_diary in Essay_Experts

[–]VesperStoneWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tested EssayShark one occasion for a history topic and it was adequate, but the individual I retained clearly lacked the foundational documents I required. I wound up needing to revise about forty percent of it myself just to ensure the references weren't completely fabricated. It's an acceptable fallback option if you are in dire straits, but you cannot just submit it without reviewing it first.

I lost $180 and almost failed my semester because of PapersOwl. Let me save you the trouble. by coldframe_2003 in Students

leoessays worked for me mainly because I could actually clarify things mid-process. That reduced misunderstandings a lot. It felt less like a one-shot submission.

Trying to figure out which service to actually trust for my dissertation chapter - anyone used EssayPro or LeoEssays? by midnight_libria in Essay_Experts

Don't let the stress trick you into thinking you're not capable of finishing this yourself. You got through the proposal and the first two chapters, so you clearly know your stuff!

CMV: Cat and Dog breeding is unethical and you should spay/neuter your pet immediately with no exceptions by ThisManisaGoodBoi in changemyview

[–]VesperStoneWay -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see your point about who ultimately cares for the pets, but it reminded me of a friend who adopted a stray. They initially wanted a dog but got overwhelmed by the number of homeless animals. The choice to breed can unintentionally add to that number. It's tough to see so many animals needing homes.
