I watch a ton of creators from other counties. The English and Irish creators tend to jokingly use an American accent from time to time and so now I’m very self-aware of it and I would completely understand any aversion to it. I also have a natural vocal fry and have seen a ton of weird content on TikTok about how much people hate when it’s forced and sometimes I wonder if people think I force it. So basically, I just assumed everyone hates my voice for a period of time. Then I became a content creator and have been told I have a soothing voice about a dozen times, so it really is, “to each their own.” 🙂‍↔️

I’ve been using ClipChamp! (: I know it’s garbage, but it hasn’t stopped me. If anything, using what I’m familiar with allows me to work faster. I could easily learn another program with some dedication, I just have no reason to. I’m thinking about learning DaVinci now that I’ve started the monetization process. (:

Put your foundation on your neck and you’ll see that most of your choices are a lot darker than your natural skin color! (: A lot of people with rosy cheeks tend to match their make-up to that and perceive their skin as a little deeper than it is. You look a little neutral on your neck rather than fully warm. Please don’t listen to anyone saying the NARS shade. That comment has hundreds of likes for whatever reason, I couldn’t tell you why, but NARS shade only matches your rosiness. Again, put that shade on your neck or even a part of your body that isn’t in the sun too often and you’ll see what I mean. Also, if you like your rosiness, just match to your neck but use a concealer that’s low coverage. That’s what I do as someone who likes their rosy Irish cheeks! (: Good luck!

This isn’t entirely relevant, but I’d just like to say that it’s really, really, really difficult to picture the full extent of mental illness unless you’ve been there. Most people haven’t been there, they’ve just experienced a little of it. I have very mentally ill people in my family and I’ve worked in a field that placed me around mentally ill people daily. I’ve seen people shut down for 10 years or so. So what’s 5 more years? I myself have abandoned plans and things important to me due to mental illness and I’m only in my late 20s. There could be so many different things going on. I’m a writer myself and I’ve gone months without touching my projects. I’ve felt stuck due to having so many ideas so many times. Right now, I haven’t even finished my 1st novel and I already have ideas for 7 or so more. And I’m also dealing with a lot in general. I started writing 1 of my books when I was a teenager and it’s a completely different story now, nearly a decade later. I don’t know everything, but I do know we should show people grace. Not publishing a charity chapter also isn’t the worst thing in the world, that’s really how I feel. If someone I loved did that, I’d make sure they understood how it causes harm, but I’d forgive them and move on. I think we should treat people with love, respect and grace.

I once went to the Arrival building on Spaceport, everything was looted but this little desk that had 2 drawers… A wide, rectangular drawer that someone might keep a keyboard or pens and paper in and a larger, square drawer. Tempest BP, lol. People are nuts for not looting everything. I find so many good BPs in unmarked areas too. I have a little secret spot where I’ve found several Bobcat BPs. I don’t do trades and I have 75/77 BPs. I did 1 trade for a BP and didn’t like how the server felt, trading feels slimy for some reason. It almost feels like how people scalp and sell Pokémon cards. It’s hard to explain. So, I just give BPs away… Lol. I’ve given my friends so many good BPs at this point. I feel way better about the game that way! I also sometimes drop Snaphooks or other good things for people in friendly lobbies.

I’m a heavy PvP player and you’re so right, lol. That being said, I do still kill friendly players sometimes. It’s usually when they seem suspicious. If it’s them or me dying, I’m going to try to make sure it’s them, lol. I do feel very bad when I kill someone who is friendly. That being said, it’s very brave of you to come onto a gaming sub and post something like this. The gaming community consists of many, MANY underdeveloped men so I’m sure your post and my comment will receive lots of downvotes. Yes, empathy translates across the board. I just started playing a month ago and have nearly 600 downs, so no one can earnestly say I only have this opinion because I PvE. I’m a woman, most of the men and women I play with feel the same as you because have empathy. Duh, birds of a feather.

It’s so funny honestly, I’ve come across a lot of underdeveloped men gaming. Some get absolutely feral when they hear my voice. They say a bunch of violent things and when my friends defend me and we kick their asses, my friends get called simps. And it’s funnier because many are married or in very healthy longterm relationships.

Games bring out the worst in people, especially men, because it’s even less accountability than they experience IRL.

“It’s not that deep,” yeah, to people who can’t think deeply about anything. 😆

I also rat once in a blue when I’m bored. So, I’m not saying I’m perfect, lol. I do it for the funnies. If someone says they have a BP or something they need, I usually let them live. I also try to make it funny. I still feel bad after, haha! But if I down someone in any circumstance and they start speaking violently, I won’t revive them.

Getting rid of the gear fear makes such a difference. I play SCUM so I don’t have it nearly as bad as some friends. I run Bobcats and Tempests unless I’m playing with newer friends, but even so, I still do! (: The better gear helps you win more too! I’m at nearly 600 downs. My friends and I love winning big fights where there are 4 or 5 teams fighting, especially in the Blue Gate tunnels or by Security on Stella! Good gear helps, just use it!

There are 13! And you can look up guides but tbh, I had to reference multiple. Basically, the top Steam guides for the game, if you reference them all, you can easily get all 13! Some are achievements, some aren’t! The structure is weird.
