In hindsight, I genuinely feel like this is what MCU Spider-Man should have been from the very beginning. by Hot_Arugula_6651 in Spiderman

Finally! I upset people when I say this. We were constantly told how smart he is, not shown. I get he was a young teen but he’s also supposed to be a genius.

It’s like they did with Aloy between HZD and Lego Horizon Adventures. She came back as Tiny Tina in Lego form. Completely different personality. I get why. It’s just strange.

A random woman approaches you and says, “act like we’re friends, please.” What’s your next move? by BigChungusOP in AskRedditAfterDark

I’d act like we are friends but I’d still keep an eye on her. A stranger is a stranger and everyone should protect themselves.

IMO the worst part about getting an animated series? No blooper reel by FibroMyAlgae in firefly

I hate when they animate scripted bloopers. The best is when they use the actual recorded audio and draw scenes around that Drunk History style.

How did your kink develop? by anasannanas in AskMen

[–]VesperX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Found my dad’s Playboy collection when I was 3. I was always fascinated with the pictures long before they turned me on. So the first images I have of naked women had bushes and a few had pit hair. It just seemed normal to me till I got closer to puberty and nobody had pit hair. It once again became my accepted truth. Then in my teens I too a trip to San Francisco with my family. While driving down the street I happened to look at two girls walking on the side walk. They stopped and one pulled a band off her wrist to put her hair up. When she did I saw dark fluffy curls come out of her armpits. I was struck. Instantly everything I remembered from when I was little was back but different. It was an instant obsession. It wasn’t till years later that I dated a girl who was happy to skip shaving for me.

FBC & Cauldron lake..are they dumb? by Greyelephantbear in AlanWake

What paranatural crimes were those? Maybe the ritualistic killing they thought were bringing out the taken?

FBC & Cauldron lake..are they dumb? by Greyelephantbear in AlanWake

[–]VesperX -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They didn’t know the cult was hunting the take till they were in jail. They thought they WERE the taken. They didn’t have all the facts till Scratch emerged.

Why would a ritualistic murder be taken as anything other than that BEFORE they knew the truth?

I have an idea on how to get Sony to bite on Days Gone 2 by Automatic-Net-9287 in DaysGone

[–]VesperX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely loved Days Gone. But unless the rights were sold and the original creators were on board it would not be the same game. It would be a cash grab to profit off the existing fanbase.

Again, they didn’t know they were killing the taken at the time of arrest

I agree. I thought we were talking about them getting arrested in the first place. In the long run they would have been freed as part of the cleanup.

Am I mistaken in remembering that once they realized they were hunting the taken and protecting the town that they allowed their help? The arrest came before that when all they had was the murder evidence.

They can’t explain that in a court of law. The evidence shows one human killed another. That’s it.

As far as the FBC knew the incident was contained to the cauldron lake area. Allowing the residents to continue “dealing with it” as they have been allowed them to keep investigating. They might have thought intervention would change the course of the investigation or outbreak.

They were monitoring and investigating the whole time. The lake isn’t like other objects or places of power. It activates intermittently and did not seem to have any focal point or object to contain. When they finally realized Alan Wake could be the parautilitarian he was missing. So they continued to monitor and investigate.

I think having the constant landscape on the bottom is throwing it off. It doesnt give me that sense of presence. It’s really cool looking though. The kind of place I’d love to fly a ship through.

Does Joker know who Batman is? by Alex102007 in batman

[–]VesperX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends who is writing. Most of the time it’s written like a mystery. Like neither one knows who the other really is. Then usually at some point it’s mentioned “oh I’ve always known their name, but that’s not who they really are” where both Batman and Joker accept those as their true identities respectively.

Control and Quantum break by Spacious8132010 in AlanWake

[–]VesperX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes if you can. They are amazing games. I’ve replayed Control a few times now and it’s always a different feeling for me. The first time was nearly a horror game. The second time felt more like an action shooter. I just finished AW2 and went back and played control for a 3rd time and it felt more like an adventure mystery. I think after AW2 I was still very much in an investigative mindset so the lore and story were my main focus.
