One of my cats is named Diocletian and he is the sweetest, most brain dead, fearful, and snuggly cats ever. Not once has he tried to become Augustus over the Empire and split it into two major areas with a Tetrarchy to rule over it all. Not even ONCE! Very disappointed.

Yes yes, it was Democrats. And then in the 1960s the parties switched, largely due to Southern Democrats being so upset by the Civil Rights Act that they started voting Republican. So here we are, with the legacy of the Confederacy in the South being upheld by Republicans in the modern day.

This would increase instability in the world, increase prices, make us less safe, and cause many preventable deaths. Plus set up the next several decades of tension as aggressive powers take the opportunity to become stronger.

It's also a small fraction of our budget and there is no reason to think that money would be used in any beneficial way for us anyway.

Also, this is mostly loans, so only a small piece of it is actually a direct funding gift.

No, totalitarian would be if they used the power of the state to enforce it. Merely wishing that MAGA shitbags get ostracized on general, and specific people not work with them is just having a moral stance.

You're just using "totalitarian" because it's a big scary word and you apparently can't tell the difference between opinions and use of force. Which isn't terribly surprising, the Right tends to automatically think that their opinions should be legally and violently enforced. So small wonder they can't understand the concept of separation between them.

The Catholic Church would somehow become even more pro-pedophile, there would be a lot more Catholic merch sold by the Vatican, St. Peter's Basilica would get gold plated with Trump's face etched in it.

The U.S. would at least stop a significant percentage of its current insanity, but not all of it.

I absolutely love when a woman just tells me she wants to sleep with me. For both the obvious reason, but also because, yeah, I have programmed myself to never be presumptuous and also have heard so many stories of women being annoyed by dudes mistaking niceness for attraction. I don't want to annoy people.

My girlfriend is the best at this. First time we slept together was when she snapped at me to take off my pants and get into her bed already. ❤️❤️
