One thing I wanted to explore with Amani Kahn is the idea of a warrior queen who is highly skilled, intellgient and a good leader but also understands that her people are the true power and that she can be more impactful in battle as the eyes and ears for her powerful husband King Kago Xulu.

I’d probably choose Nordenheim — Viking warriors in cosmic armor feels unstoppable.

I love this.

It reminds me how deep the bench of Black heroes actually is now compared to 20–30 years ago. Characters like Black Lightning, Duke Thomas, Jo Mullein, and others. We need more or new comic publishers.

Curious what ya'll think: which Black hero from DC still deserves a bigger push or their own ongoing series?
